Knicks or Spurs

Players don't "appear" and "disappear." They show up for every game. Some games, they play better than others. A lot of fanboys get critical when a player turns in a below-aversge performance, forgetting that that will happen half the time, pretty much by definition.

What matters much more is the team's performance, not that of one or two individual players. And the Knicks have outplayed the Spurs so far. The series would be 3-0 now if the Spurs hadn't gone ice-cold in the fourth quarter.

There's also the fact that even if the Knicks even things up in Game 4, the Spurs will then have two out of three at home. So without looking at the current series odds, I'd put the Spurs at -180 to win the championship.

Usually a team "wins" to even a series up.  That is how 99.999% of sports patrons refer to it.  Just ask one of your third graders and they will settle this for you.
