Kyrsten Sinema is a POS

PJ, that's just it though why should Democrats hold their nose and vote for her?  If a Kari Lake type figure runs on the Republican side they are going to get 95 percent of the R vote so Sinema doesn't bring enough new votes to the table to replace the ones she loses from a unenthusiastic low turnout on the D side. If she runs and Democrats don't run anybody against her she will lose.

I will admit she's conceded enough to think she can win. Unfortunately, for her, big corporate contributors and wealthy individuals don't hold a lot of sway over the Republican or Democratic base anymore. And the truth of the matter is she's probably just being used as a pawn by her own wealthly contributors that want her to run as an independent so they can set up a victory for who they really want to win. Someone like Blake Masters.

Im not so sure.   She didnt have a snowball's chance in hell of getting through a Democratic primary and she knew it.      As an Indepndant  Democrats are fucked if they run against her.   None of the Kari Lake voters are going to go for her....which means the only voters she steals away are center-lefties.   So what do you do if you're Democrats?  Probably hold your nose and hope she wins.

The big problem she'll have if she runs is a lack of money unless she can get some kind of Super Pac sponcer.   And she'll need alot of money in AZ which is officially a swing state.

According to a recent Civiqs poll, Sinema has a 25% approval rating from Republicans in Arizona and a 5% approval rating from Democrats. So I don't see her hurting the Dems if she runs as an independent in two years. And if the GOP runs another crazy for Senate in two years, she probably even helps the Democrats by running.

And functionally, she is doing the exact same thing as Senators Bernie Sanders and Angus King; caucusing with the Democrats while remaining independent. So it doesn't change anything; her chances of re-election remain in the toilet.

She'll probably make a deal with the Democrats to be appointed an ambassador somewhere to avoid utter humiliation.

Worse than she does with Republicans:

Democrats: 5% fav, 82% unfav

Independents: 25% fav, 56% unfav

Republicans: 25% fav, 45% unfav
