Criminal behavior amongst the immigrants is less than that of AMerican Citizens. Escaping criminal behavior is their motivation for coming here in the first place.

We lack the ability to process immigrants into citizens quickly enough. This is something the Trump administration stripped funding from. We have fewer citizenship hearings....fewer judges....so there is a logj am. Fixing the log jam is the solution. Building a wall clearly wasnt - hence the fact that we can see it not working today and all of its dumb shit propponents running around crynig about the border.

The number of crimes committed by illegal immigrants in the United States surged in fiscal year 2021 after declining in the years before that. Homicides, assaults, incidents of domestic violence, illegal weapons possession, and sexual offenses committed by illegal aliens all increased dramatically in fiscal year 2021 compared to fiscal year 2020, data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows.
Illegal immigrants committed 1,178 assault and domestic violence crimes in 2021, which represents a more than 400% increase from the 208 in 2020. Sixty homicide or manslaughter convictions were attributed to illegal immigrants in 2021, a 1,900% increase from the previous year.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says that officials apprehended 10,763 "criminal noncitizens" in fiscal year 2021, which marks an increase of over 300% from previous years.
Non-citizens accounted for 24 percent of all federal drug arrests, 25 percent of all federal property arrests, and 28 percent of all federal fraud arrests.
Non-citizens constitute only about 7 percent of the U.S. population. Yet the latest data from the Justice Department’s Bureau of Justice Statistics reveals that non-citizens accounted for nearly two-thirds (64 percent) of all federal arrests in 2018.
Migrants from Central American countries are also accounting for a larger share of federal arrests, going from a negligible 1 percent of such arrests in 1998 to 20 percent today.
A recent report from the Texas Department of Public Safety revealed that 297,000 non-citizens had been “booked into local Texas jails between June 1, 2011 and July 31, 2019.” So these are non-citizens who allegedly committed local crimes, not immigration violations.
The report noted that a little more than two-thirds (202,000) of those booked in Texas jails were later confirmed as illegal immigrants by the federal government.
The report states that there have already been over 225,000 convictions. Those convictions represent: 500 homicides; 23,954 assaults; 8,070 burglaries; 297 kidnappings; 14,178 thefts; 2,026 robberies; 3,122 sexual assaults; 3,840 sexual offenses; 3,158 weapon charges and tens of thousands of drug and obstruction charges
Yeah, Tom, when you pretend you dont understand what "percentages" and "per captia" means thats where people should stop listening to you.
The "number of arrests" went up because "the number of immigrants' went up. The percentages didnt. And the criminal percentages amongst US citizens is higher than the people coming over.....And the fact that Tom is anxious to paint those people negatively with a false statistic should tell you alot about Tom's ignorant disposition towards people that dont look like him.
And thats why you dont want people like Tom in charge of immigration. Unfortunately we had 4 years of someone who was.

Great Scott ! You mean laws that are geared towards border crimes are more prevelant by people passing through the border compared to people who dont? Thats big. And the fact that you had to go cherry pick a few laws instead of looking at all laws is telling.
Immigrants are half as likely to commit violent crimes and all felonies compared to US citizens
Thats in sum total of all felonies - not me performing an exercise of finding one kind of crime that makes my point. Tom chooses to ignore things like Rape, murder, assault, and armed robbery when he did his intelligent research about felonies and immigrants.

Great special on CNN tonight documenting the trek of people who essentially walked from Venezeula to the US boder and the sheer hell of that journey and the resolve of the people who made it. I guarantee all of them by virtue of that single accomplishment have done more in their lives than anything deadbeat, loser David Miller can point to in his patheric existance.
We should be so lucky to have such hard working people want to start a life in this country. We can improve the processing methods to get them . We just have to get the Klan caucus out of the way. Maybe they can make the trek to Venezuela and create an Ayn Rand utopia there. I'd take that trade.
