Mild Symptoms?

At this point everything is speculation and reading tea leaves.   treatment has come a long way in the last 6 months and the president will likely have options and care  available to him regular people don't.

I wish him a quick recovery

The virus is swooping down and picking off Republican senators, including two who are on the Senate rubber-stamp committee for Trump's Nazi girl. Instead of a 12-10 advantage, the GOP now is 10-10 with the Democrats.

The White House chain of infections is being attributed to Republican behavior at the recent "Ha ha, you can't stop us" celebration in the Rose Garden, which was a mostly maskless superspreader event.

Though Moscow Mitch is fighting it, more and more senators are calling for a one-week recess.

I love it when evil shoots itself in the foot.

It turns out Trump knew he was infectious on WEDNESDAY. He went ahead with a fundraiser and failed to notify Biden, who he had been shouting at a couple of days earlier.

I cannot make well wishes to Trump or anyone who went along with this criminal conspiracy. They can rot in hell.

They're administering a clinically untested antibody drug, which according to at least one highly thought of epidemiologist, you don't do unless you are desperate or crazy. I'm voting for crazy because Trump has a few dingy medical "experts" around. So I guess that's optimistic.

"Clinically untested", as in mixed in somebody's bathtub.   Wasn't Paul Newman was successful with that process, his salad dressing?  LOL.

Only PJ has it right, "speculation."   By Kitchen Sinkers with first hand, on the scene, side by side with the primary care team every minute, information.   Makes for entertaining reading, though, as always.

Actually, the information about the drug being administered I got from a "Memorandum from the President's Physician" dated October 2, 2020. Look it up.

That it was "clinically untested" I got from this guy, who is a Senior Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists and a renowned epidemiologist. Previously he was on the faculty at Harvard for 16 years.

Is that good enough for you?

I was quoting you, Mister Picture, you who suggested drugs are "clinically untested", suggesting inappropriate treatments are being given to the President.  Perhaps I misunderstood your meaning.  I don't need to look it up, in fact I don't know what drug you are referencing.  I am familiar with the concept of emergency use of treatments not fully approved yet for general practice.

I am disappointed Trump didn't take his own advice and shove a UV light up his ass to kill the virus from the inside.

To be fair, it turned out to be pretty good salad dressing.

If you object to "speculation"--well, if we actually had an honest White House, we'd get information we could rely on and wouldn't have to speculate, now, would we?

In this current opaque-by-design environment, we have to rely on inference. If Trump's symtoms were indeed "mild" and he had just contracted CoVid, why was he administered this new experimental--untested--mixed in Paul Newman's bathtub, whatever--treatment so early? I can only draw two conclusions:

1. The Orange One is/was a lot sicker than we've been told.

2. The new drug is further along than we've been told, to the point where Trump's doctors felt it was safe to use it and it would be effective.

Horrifying thought re #2: The company that developed that new drug (Pfizer?) has had it ready for large-scale clinical trials but has been holding it back, and now they've fed it to Trump so that their stock will zoom skyward if it proves effective.
