According to CBS News, Minneapolis is the 19th most violent city in America.
Interestingly all 25 cities on the list are run by Democrats.
Those who've never never built anything are in charge. Those who have never created an ounce of wealth are in charge. These folks complain about things, but they are now in charge of changing things for the better. This will be a fucking riot to watch.............actually, no pun intended.

Its a bunch of window dressing. The city council has no details of their plan and the mayor already said he wont sign anything.
It does send a strong statement to the police the city is serious about reforms - so their racist union leader better play ball in that regard. Better yet, he should step down and let someone whose not an asshole take his place. That would be a good faith effort start.

The nuts have a veto proof majority. The mayor has no say in defunding the police department.

There will be one of these two outcomes.
1. The nuts will not be able to come up with a plan and the police department stays. This is what I expect, because these people can't build anything that's worthwhile. They can't make the difficult decisions, but they sure can complain and whine.
2. They defund the police department, and Minneapolis becomes a mess.
