Missing Titanic sub...

I'm reading reports of a debris field found by the wreck of Titanic. That would likely mean an implosion.

Depends. An implosion caused by a hull breach wouldn't produce a debris field, because of the tremendous pressure at that depth. Rather, you'd have something resembling a crushed beer can.

Could be, if that's how 5 inch carbon fibers react to a hull breach.

It's still a hollow shell, the only thing keeping it from being crushed is the air inside, NOT the strength of the walls. Hull breach, lose that air pressure, sayonara.

The physics of the whole thing is kind of interesting, and terrifying enough that I'd never get on a submarine unless it was at Disneyland.

The pilot and 4 passengers of the Titan submersible are dead, US Coast Guard says  - https://news.yahoo.com/rescuers-last-desperate-push-final-040243936.html

The Titanic claims 5 more 111 years later.

Toad is NOT a man - he is a repulsive , small minded cretin. Calling him a "man" is an insult to  ALL men.
