MLB Baseball Opening Day

I'm waiting Kevin to provide us what specific part of the voting law he thinks is horrible.  Is it that absentee voters can't get the battot until 29 days prior to the election.  Is it that absentee voters have to provide a ID number?  Is it that absentee voters can't request a ballot until 78 days before the election?

Exactly how stupid must Keven think the Democrat absentee voters are?  Talk about being racist.

You think the voter suppression bill is wonderful, because it makes it more difficult for Black people to vote. I'm not going to discuss your racist RepubliQ beliefs with you.

Kevin states an accusation that he can't back up with facts and is left only with his worn out race card.

The Atlanta Constitution has already retracted their stance of the law.

Lam - what group is unable to get an id?

Little Angry Man lies again when he says the law does not allow the overseas military to vote.

There are a huge number of situations where one must supply an id. There is nothing wrong with asking if the person at the poll is actually the person who is going to vote.  Voter integrity is probably more important than the integrity of getting a casino player card.

Tommie-poo is so confused. It's sad to see a person with such limited mental abilities try to engage in a sane discussion. It's like watching a chimp play the piano.

Spoken like a true racist. Sorry, Boiler, but them uppity Black folks are gonna vote, and in the process make people like you irrelevant. Be very afraid.

I don't think it should be a crime to hand somebody a bottle of water when they've waited in line for hours to vote. I don't think states should make it harder to vote, especially in places where they've already eliminated polling stations. I don't think people standing in line for hours to vote should be disenfranchised because the state wants to make an arbitrary cutoff time for voting.

Below is a discussion of the new law from NYT. If you don't think their analysis is credible, just look at the actual text of the law (which is included). https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/02/us/politics/georgia-voting-law-annotated.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

One more comment....the fact that it's not hard to get an ID has nothing to do with it. Where in the constitutuion does it say you have to have a photo ID to vote? And it might be reasonable to add this requirement, except that there is NO evidence of widespread voter fraud in the U.S. Individual cases? Sure. But, for example, when Indiana's voter ID law was challenged the court asked the State if they had any evidence of fraud. They had ZERO. Not one case. Why are states imposing a burden on voters to solve a problem that doesn't exist?

The Supreme Court has already upheld voter id laws.

It is not illegal to hand out water, but if you are affiliated with a campaign you can't.

Read much?  The law says you can't solicit votes, NOR (emphasis added) pass out food or water.

Matt, are you telling me that if one is in line in Georgia before the polls close that they can't vote?  I haven't researched this, but I don't think so.

What time would you be happy with for polls to close that is not "arbitrary"?  After all, any time could qualify as arbitrary.

Matt, how many polls are enough?  The Liberal argument seems to be that there must be 1000 per county, and if the GOP says 999 is the correct number, that's racist.

I've not found that the voting rules are different in Georgia for blacks vs whites, but others magically have found this with no facts to back up there position.  You certainly hanen't.
