How about you listen to what Trump actually said?  Wouldn't that simplify things?  Have you ever watched and listened to his entire speech?  I bet not.

Tom requires a direct quote of Trump's order to storm the Capital in order for him to be guilty.   No such quote is required from Democrats for Tom's  other fairy tale.   And that really just tells you more about Tom than anything else.

And as I've already said:  The insurrection crowd has a collective narrative which says they were doing exactly what the president wanted them to do.   If Tom doesnt want to listen to the horse's mouth...or the people who fed them the lie...or the people who continue to feed them the lie...or people who purge leadership on the basis of confronting that lie...well, thats Tom's problem.       After all, there were black people  throwing rocks somewhere  so that makes a coup attempt on our democracy ok.

The Liberal attention span doesn't allow the time and interest to view Trump actual speech in question.  Of course PJ has been arguing how it makes sense to develop strong opinions on important matter without knowing the facts................like what Trump actually said.

The insurrection crowd

False statment - the number of people indicted for insurrection is zero. The number of people in the Capitol with a gun is zero.  Kind of hard to have an insurrection without guns.

"Liberals" aren't the ones who attended Trump's speech and attacked the Capital the second he finished.    Those people point the finger at Trump..and so does Mitch McConnell and Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney.

So when you keep trying to say thats my account of what happend...no, that's their account.  And they aren't liberals.     Clearly you've signed on to the Matt Gaoetz wing of the party and thats your right.    Doesn't change the facts of what happened that day or the people who motivated it.

Summary of arrests

"More than 125 defendants have been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding officers or employees, and at least 35 of those were charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon, the Department of Justice said. About 140 officers were assaulted during the attack, according to a Justice Department spokesperson.

More than 350 were charged with entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds, and more than 35 were charged with entering the Capitol with a dangerous or deadly weapon, the spokesperson said. 

The government said in a March court filing that while most cases brought so far were against individuals, prosecutors are also investigating conspiratorial activity that occurred before and during the attack. So far, about 30 have been charged with conspiracy, a charge that alleges they coordinated with others to commit an offense, the Justice Department said.

More than 25 defendants have been charged under a destruction of government property statute. During proceedings for three of those defendants, the government said their crimes amounted to "terrorism" — an allegation that is not itself a charge but could influence prison sentences if they are found guilty."

So Boiler and Tommie-poo are claiming that Trump didn't incite the insurrection.

That's effin' HILARIOUS.

What I don't understand is why Tommie-poo and Boiler continue to defend a gang of traitors. Do they not love their country? Were they cheering for the Capitol to fall and our democracy to be extinguished?

Can you imagine how they would be whining and bleating if it had been a crowd of Democrats who committed murder, destruction, and treason that day? They'd be popping like overripe zits and demanding that every Democrat, Joe Biden included, be strung up. (And yeah, this is the cue for either or both of them to bring up the BLM protests, as if the two incidents were remotely similar in motivation or effect. "Your buddies marched on the Capitol and killed a bunch of people." "Well, yeah, but what about the BLM protestors who broke windows???" "Yeah, you're right, that's totally the same thing.")

I guess Tommie-poo and Boiler are traitors and hypocrites--and of course, liars. It's sad what conservatism does to a person's morals and ethics. To think that the RepubliQ party used to style itself as the party of good old-fashioned American values!

Pj proves my point. Not a single person has been indicted in 6 months for insurrection. The arrests were for the same crimes as Portland. 

Not a single cop was killed in the Capital.
