Liberal idiots -The angry children you’re watching topple statues are truly and utterly stupid. There’s probably never been a dumber group gathered in one place in all of American history. They’re mouth-breathers.They know nothing. They couldn’t tell you who George Washington was. They don’t know when the civil war was fought, probably not even to the century. They say they oppose racism, and then they rip down monuments to abolitionists. They don’t see the contradiction in that. They have no idea who the abolitionists were. They think it’s a band from the 80s.

How about an original thought from you... Maybe at least once a week?

Obviously this posting has confused toad. Keeping it short and succinct did not work - next time I will use shorter words.

Actually there's two:

"Abolitionist" - Political post-hardcore / punk band from Portland, Oregon.

"The Abolitionists Band" - outta Alabama; maybe outta business too

David just copies and pastes without thinking, or even reading what he posts. The crack about the abolitionists was just the pulled-out-of-his-ass observation of some internet troll--and a lie. I'm sure that "they" know exactly who the abolitionists were.

We thank DonDiego for his erudition re rock bands of the previous century. Perhaps he can tell us if there is a band called "Take Away Their Health Care" or "They're All Rapists and Murderers" or maybe, "Very Fine People"? After all, there are definitely enough Trumpers in any given locale to put together a rock band.

From our paper today:

A mob in Madison, Wisconsin threw Molotov cocktails and toppled statues.  In the process they toppled, decapitated and dragged a statue of Hans Christian Heg into a lake.  Heg "spent time chasing away slave catchers in the 1850s before joining the Union Army.  He was a colonel in the civil war and died of wounds at Chickamauga, the highest ranking Union officer from Wisconsin to die in the Civil War."  Apparently someone thought enough of him to erect a statue in his honor.   After being admonished by the governor for this act, at least on protester said it was "a huge gain for the movement" and a "strategic political move."  The editorial writer asks "Is it too much to ask that protesters have some awarenesss of their targets, their own history?"

What you post is just some random goober's opinion, which you copied. Calling that "the truth" didn't work the last 500 times you tried it, and doesn't work now.
