Now we know how Trump would have handled the Ukraine invasion.

Let the other idiots chime in here if you have nothing worthy to say PJ.  Biden is busy telling fables and forgetting where he is at; why wouldn't they do it now?

How completely fucking stupid to state or imply that who happens to be US President affects what Russia does to/with its neighbors! Putin understands that whoever is in charge will likely be gone in a few years, and in eight years at the absolute most.

Maybe you're trying to imply that bigly manly Trump stood up to Putin, brandished his fist, and said, "Don't you nasty Russkies try anything!!!" and Putin, scared shitless, disbanded his army or something. Except, that's not what happened. In fact, Trump sucked Putin's dick in public on multiple occasions.

Russia has regarded all its former colonies as still part of Russia and is on a mission to gradually reclaim them all. This started in 1989 and is continuing today.

Notice no comments on the Charles' points.

#1 idiot has spoken.  3-4 more to go yet.

I agree, Jerry, but I'm surprised that you're being so hard on yourself. And if it makes you feel any better, you're only the #4 idiot in my book.

I just like to rile you boys up once in a while.  Charles' post was good though.  The list of disasters right now under Biden has been well documented here many times in many other posts.  As has the fact he is a semi-functioning individual at this point.  I just like reading how you guys still pretend to defend him and the job he is doing.  It has to be kind of embarrassing for you.

I realize that Charles is a semi-functioning individual--otherwise, I'd be a lot harder on him. As for you, yes, of course, so many of your arguments are nonsensical, it's obvious that you're just trying to stir things up.

If you label anything and everything you don't like as a "disaster," and you're stupid enough to blame Biden for every single one of them, yeah, there have been 147 billion "disasters" during the Biden administration. Including record wage growth, a booming economy, and the majority of the population fully vaccinated. Biden doesn't need us or anyone else to "defend" him, especially not against spurious, disingenuous criticism. And surely you realize that all you're doing is aping the alt-right propaganda outlets' reflexive criticism.

How 'bout you think about what you could personally do to improve all those horrible horrible horrible Biden disasters you keep whining about, rather than trolling?

Hey!  Maybe we do know how Trump would have handled the Ukraine invasion!  He would have avoided it altogether by threatening to destroy Moscow if Russia invaded Ukraine on his watch.  He would also have the world less reliant on Russian energy.

Trump talks about Vladimir Putin, mocking Merkel at Mar-a-Lago (nypost.com)

Whether or not you belive that story, it seems most American voters are convinced Putin wouldn't have invaded if Trump were president.

62 percent of voters say Putin wouldn't have invaded Ukraine if Trump were president: poll | TheHill

A majority of Americans polled — 59 percent — also said they believed that the Russian president moved on Ukraine because Putin saw weakness in President Biden.  Go figure.

So the administration told us the threat of Joe's powerful sanctions were designed to deter Russian aggression.  Well before they told us they never thought the powerful sanctions would deter the invasion.   It seems Turmps alleged powerful threats may have actually kept Russia (and China) in line.  The red line.

With Trump in charge AMerica was well on its way to becoming the next Belarus with a Putin-autocrat taking orders from the Kremlin.

Putin's hookers dont suck him off as much as the bone-spur coward does..that was true when Donny the draft dodger was in charge....and its true now that he's out of office.

ANd I dont need "alleged" comments to show that history.

Putin isn't stupid. He knew very well that Trump, in addition to being a bully, is a coward--as most bullies are, when push comes to shove. Putin, however, also benefited from being Trump's master, which was ultimately more valuable to him, at least in the short run, than tearing off chunks of Ukraine. And Jerry...Trump wouldn't have "threatened to destroy Moscow" no matter what. That was where his man-bro lived.

So yeah, as long as Putin had a puppet in the White House, he wasn't going to do anything drastic. Once his lackey got thrown out, he shrugged and said, OK, what the hell. The bottom line is that no matter who is or was President, we wouldn't have done anything substantial to deter or punish Putin if and when he invaded Ukraine, just as Putin wouldn't have done anything if we had invaded Mexico.

So I do agree that Putin would probably have held up if his orange servant was still in the White House. Great for Ukraine. Horrible for America.
