Being a conservitard is like pissing on yourself and everyone around you.

It's funny how Capitalist Charles doesn't approve of a business decision made by a private company. I thought that was sacred RepubliQ conservitard dogma--survival of the fittest, and all that.

*sniff*sniff* Is that a wee bit of hypocrisy I smell?

What if members of congress pressured those  cable providers to drop OAN?  Would that be ok?  'What if the government, in this case Democrats who don’t like conservative news organizations could get private industry to do its dirty work? What if (hypothetically, of course) Democrats could get Big Tech to shut down conservative voices they don’t like and then say, “Our hands are clean. We didn’t abridge anybody’s First Amendment rights?"    Would that be ok with Mark and Kevin?  I doubt either will answer that question because it turns out to not be a hypothetical.

And  "business decisions" and inapropriate congressional pressure aside, I remember when real liberals welcomed a free press and voices from the other side.  They were willing to debate issues and would relish an opportunity to meet opposing ideas or to point out errors of fact.....but now are reduced to taking delight in the cancelation of those voices.  Just shells of their former selves.  They would never organize campaigns to try to destroy media outlets they disagreed with.  Not so principled anymore.   And they call Republicans authoritarian.

Just remember Kevin and Mark are now on the side of gleefully suppressing opposing views.  If you look at history that's kind of the wrong side to be on.  At least they aren't advocating for the arrest of these 'perpetrators of disinformation'....Yet.  Give 'em time.  They'll get there.  They always do.

Nevermind.  I can't waste anymore time on this.

Yeah, you're just making yourself look like an idiot. Good decision.

Ok, I was just going to ignore you, but now, I wont.  I actually had posted a message returning all your continued childish insults, but realized I'm a better man than you (are you a he, a they or an it today? Couldn't resist) and now I'll just stick to the facts and let the readers determine who is right.

Of course Kevin's only argument is that I'm making this up...that Democrats are not cheering the cancelling of OAN.  He claims Democrat politicans never attacked this network and issued ominious requests for information from many large cable and satelite providers regarding their relationship with OAN.  Even though they cheer the cancelling in this very thread and it doesn't take much to find many Democrat controlled organizations have been pushing for this for over a year.

So let's just imagine that during the Russian collusion investigation, Republican congressmen sent a letter the CEOs of 12 cable and satellite providers who host a wide variety of television news channels and the letter suggests they were undermining democracy by false reporting....and they asked the following questions:

“What moral or ethical principles (including those related to journalistic integrity, reporting accuracy and story selection) do you apply in deciding which channels to carry or when to take adverse actions against a channel?”

“Have you taken any adverse actions against a channel, including CNN, MSNBC, RT or Aljazeera, for using your platform to disseminate disinformation related directly or indirectly to false stories related to President Donald Trump and Russian Collusion?

And, “Are you planning to continue carrying CNN, MSNBC, RT or Aljazeera” And, “If so, why?”

Does anyone imagine that the liberals here would not be apoplectic.  They would be decrying the end of freedom of the press, in fact, the end of Democracy itself.  They would claim Republicans were Nazis or liken it to the shutdown of a free press in Hong Kong or in so many authoritarian countries throughout the world.

And yet this actually happened and not a peep from those who used to defend civil liberties except to wallow in a hollow victory.  Only the party and events were changed to reflect the party in power and the events dejour.  It's a slippery slope when you start to use your political power to stifle the voices of those who argue against you

Calm down, Charles.  If it makes you feel better, liberal radio network Air America was cancelled several years ago.  Society survived.     And so did the Dixie CHicks when Texas radio stations quit playing their songs when they came out against the Iraq War.

Cable service providers are quickly becoming obsolete anyway as networks offer streaming services.   I haven't checked but I'm sure OAN has one.      So people who want to learn about all the promising studies around Ivernmectin and how the Jan 6 rioters were really ANtifa in disguise can still get their "alternate point of view" through that.

And what if members of Congress pressured McDonald's to drop the McDLT?

Yeah, saying "what if" is all you got, isn't it?

So your nobility, derring-do, and self-proclaimed status as "the better man" and "being above it all" caused you to refrain from posting a rant in response--until that restraint failed you.

Charles, like all our resident conservitards, loves to say that we said this or that and then argue vehemently against it--even though we said no such thing. That's because both he and his arguments are weak, weak, weak. Flaccid. Inept.

All I ever said was, OAN was taken off the air because of a business decision by its owner: it wasn't making enough money. Charles The Idiot wants to fantasize that it was taken down because of the vast Liberal Radical Socialist Deep State Hillary Nancy Chuck Joe KUNSPEEEEEERISSY. If we Democrats wanted that sort of thing to happen (we don't) and were able to make it happen (we're not), then Fox News would have vanished long ago.

I have to get back to my roasted baby dinner (I'm a Democrat) now.
