Oil price fall speculative, to hit $140 by year-end -Andurand

Get ready for $5-6 per gallon gas as the "Green New Deal" continues to ruin the American economy - https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/oil-price-fall-speculative-hit-140-by-year-end-andurand-2023-03-21/?fbclid=IwAR178x06cumB-uU16Nknkgm-z6prIk2P30APXRfaHXE8jN17QMts1b7ey3U

If you had actually read the article, you would have known a great portion of the article was devoted to how electric cars are decreasing the growth of demand for oil and that by 2030 there will be enough electric cars worldwide that oil consumption will be on a permanent decline.

To sum it, your article states the opposite of what you claim.  Namely, electric cars are the long term solution to high oil prices.  Electric cars are a key part of the Green New Deal.

As far as the forecast for oil prices, it was made by an investment salesman selling investments.  Historically, investment sales people aren't very reliable forecasters.

There are 1.2b gasoline cars in the world & there are 11m electric cars in the world or 0.9%. Electric cars are long way from being a factor.

Then we have the biden gang not allowing mining of metals for the green energy. The lithium mine in Nevada continues to be litigated

The company has stated that the so-called Jenny Gulch Exploration Drilling Project would produce precious metals necessary for green energy technology like solar panels and electric vehicle batteries, aerospace equipment and telecom equipment. Meanwhile the US remains dependent on biden's (courtesy of their $3m payment) friends in China for lithium.

In 1920 the census found that there were 800,000 cars and 22 million horses in the U.S.  I'm sure you would have argued  that cars were "a long way from being a factor."  And, you would have invested your money in oats and hay instead of Ford and Chevy.

tom's extra pop bottle money goes to tRumps MAGA PAC.

The math doesn't work for the goals being set by liberals.

The US is blocking the development of mines which if approved takes 10 years to bring on line.  China is the largest producer of lithium & at best our relationship is poor & may get worse. Do we want to depend on China?

We are not even close to producing 1m cars annually, but somehow we are to get to 1+b.

Then we have the problem of having enough electricity. For every fossil fuel plant taken offline; we have to add a green plant. So we have a zero sum game & that's assuming the sun shines & the wind blows.

Everything stupid Tommie-poo said above is breathtakingly idiotic. He lives in the past, has no imagination, and his brain works poorly if at all.

For instance, he babbles as if China is the only place we can possibly get lithium from. I've blown that one up before.

Stupid Tommie-poo. He embarrasses himself here every day.

Tom Circa 1920:

"We don't have enough oil, and what we have is refined into Kerosene--we'll have a shortage of Kerosene!"

"Where in the world can you buy gasoline?"

"They are so expensive, no one can afford one."

"No one knows how to fix them and you can't fine parts if you do."

"The roads are build for horses and wagons, can you image driving a car on those roads?"

"They are noisy, smelly, and they scare my horse."

"You mean we'll all carry around gallons and gallons of flammable gasoline--I can't smoke around that stuff!"

"People die in car crashes."

And, "Get off of my lawn!"

Great analogy--and funny! Dealer1 really exposed stupid Tommie-poo's antiquated thinking...and Millerscum's idiocy.
