Rosemarie, I used to think similarly when someone started a good topic. Even other Forums are being invaded.
We have a family reunion booked around July 4th, Lake Junaluska, close to Asheville NC. Normally I'd have already registered for our rooms, etc. Last fall it seemed that summer 2021 would surely be far enough away to make plans. Now I'm not so sure.

I'm working on the assumption that this summer, things will be more or less back to normal. Certainly, if they're not, Canada will keep the gates slammed closed and I won't be able to take my camping trip.
I do think, based on reports of "vaccine resistance" all across the country, that achieving a status where we can drop restrictions by Memorial Day is a 50% shot at best, but I'm hopeful. We might get a third vaccine sooner rather than later.
I also would probably want to return to Vegas in 2021, but probably not until October, as I don't like visiting in high summer anyway.

My 2020 plans became my new-improved 2021 plans. Very tentative round the world trip: Dublin, London, Barcelona, Rome, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo. Airfare (in economy) 95% paid for with credit card sign-up points. Thanks, American Express!
Sweet! Anyplace you can stop between Rome and Bangkok? That's something like sixteen hours. I would suggest maybe Istanbul or Jerusalem.
