Peaceful Protester Shoots Driver

A participant in a Black Lives Matter rally in Provo, Utah drew his pistol and shot the 60-year-old driver of an SUV which intruded onto their "peaceful protest".

The driver, who was struck by a bullet, “hit the gas trying to leave the situation,”

As the SUV is speeding away, the gunman ran after the vehicle and fired a second round that went through the rear passenger window, according to police.

After the shooting, video shows the gunman then “conceals the firearm and continues to protest,” Guyerman said. “This same protester later approached another vehicle at 500 North and University Avenue, striking and breaking the window with the handgun.”

All poor old DonDiego can say is "SUV-drivers' lives matter."

Yes. And this isolated incident proves that all the protestors are subhuman, violent thugs and should all be teargassed, beaten, and imprisoned.

I surmise this is the point that DonDiego is trying to make, as otherwise, it describes the actions of a single individual.

I also wonder why DonDiego puts "peaceful protest" in quotation marks, as the actions of this one individual do not indicate that the protest was or was not peaceful overall.

In a perfect world (mine, that is), the peaceful protesters should right then and there turn on the miscreant and kick some butt.  That's what should make the news.   Otherwise, by their silence they support such vicious actions.

Only a manly man conservative, such as Cowboy Bob, would, unarmed, confront a gunman who has already shot someone and say sternly, "Now, put that shootin' iron down, son."

I wouldn't go so far as so say anyone who doesn't immediately try to take down such a person is "supporting" that person's actions. Any more than the people who ran and hid from the gunman at the Vegas massacre were supporting the gunman because they didn't head straight for Mandalay Bay to try to stop him.

The thousands and thousand of destroyed buildings burned and robbed by peaceful protestors are isolated incidents.  About 20,000 isolated incidents.

You failed to mention that the shooter at the BLM protest was white.

Also you claimed that the shooter was peaceful. If so, why did he bring a gun?

I suggest that a career in investigative journalism might not be in your future.

Troll on....

Well, Kev, I did qualify that with it being in my "perfect world" scenario.

And BTW, Mister, who said anything about the shooter's or the victim's race?   My guess--he is a gate crasher with evil intent.   Black or white, he is a wrongdoer, not a peaceful protester.

You and other Trumper types have implied that he was part of the protest/the protestors.

That is disingenuous at best and a deliberate, shameful lie at worst.

If anyone did that, then they weren't "peaceful protestors," were they?

Also, as long as you're making shit up, why don't you claim that two million buildings were destroyed?

No I did not imply that.   If I were to imply something it is that I'd guess he possibly didn't care one bit about the issue for which the crowd is protesting, but took advantage of it to take out his hatred on...somebody.  Especially since he reportedly melded himself into the walkin protesters after he did what he did.

How you can turn this into something, anything having to do with Trump is just...ridiculous.
