Peaceful Protester Shoots Driver

Kevin Lewis comments:

" . . . this isolated incident proves that all the protestors are subhuman, violent thugs and should all be teargassed, beaten, and imprisoned."

Poor old DonDiego opines that Kevin Lewis's conclusion is not entirely supported by the incident.  Nonetheless, poor old DonDiego is unlikely to be attending any similar protests in the near future.

Kevin Lewis continues:

"I surmise this is the point that DonDiego is trying to make, as otherwise, it describes the actions of a single individual."

Indeed, it does describe the actions of a single individual attending the protest.

Kevin Lewis concludes:

"I also wonder why DonDiego puts 'peaceful protest' in quotation marks, as the actions of this one individual do not indicate that the protest was or was not peaceful overall."

Umm, . . . the term "peaceful protest" suggests an absence of firearms in the possession of the protestors, . . . at least it suggests it to poor old DonDiego.

Oh, . . . and technically, . . . the "non-peaceful behavior" of a single protester shooting someone  does change the nature of the protest from "peaceful" to "non-peaceful".

Here's why:

The statement "He was shot at a peaceful protest" defies logic.

No I did not imply that.   If I were to imply something it is that I'd guess he possibly didn't care one bit about the issue for which the crowd is protesting, but took advantage of it to take out his hatred on...somebody.  Especially since he reportedly melded himself into the walkin protesters after he did what he did.

How you can turn this into something, anything having to do with Trump is just...ridiculous.

I didn't say anything about Trump. I said something about Trumpers.

They want sooooo badly to support Trump's narrative about all the protestors being violent thugs. What do you think was the point that the Trumper who posted this, and the Trumpers who supported him, were trying to make?

What is ridiculous, Candy, is when you abandon your intellect and your morality to become a Trumper. Unlike them, you still retain vestiges of each. Why throw that away?

DonDiego, in his Trumper-style effort to brand all the protestors as violent thugs, makes the incredible statement that the actions of one person change the nature and intent of the actions of hundreds of others.

I'm not even going to bother to refute that; its stupidity is self-refuting.

You Trumpers are shameful.

After " . . . four shootings - two fatal - robberies, assaults, violence and countless property crimes" , Seattle's mayor has issued an executive order to clear the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) zone . . . Seattle police enforced the order Wednesday morning."

DonDiego trusts those guilty of criminal activities will be dealt with appropriately.

Oh, and by the way, DonDiego suggests that the "nature" of the occupation was, in fact, changed by the "four shootings - two fatal - robberies, assaults, violence and countless property crimes".

It is done.

Ref: Seattle police retake precinct in CHOP, arrest multiple protesters following Durkan orders

Hit home ----Seattle Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan previously defended the left-wing activists who camped out in a so-called “autonomous zone” for a couple of weeks, saying that they were having a “summer of love.” Durkan’s rhetoric about the activists, including a councilwoman who’s helping lead them, changed dramatically after they showed up to her home to “protest.”

Durkan had announced last week that Seattle was going to begin dismantling the “CHOP” zone after multiple acts of violence broke out in the After Durkan announced that the area would be getting closed down, far-left Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant reportedly led a protest at Durkan’s home, the address of which is confidential due to security concerns.

Who will handle such situations in the future once the police force is gone?

I assume that all it will take is one of the nice people from Seattle government to ask to leave.  What could go wrong?

What secuity concerns could there be with these peaceful people?

Yep, Boilerman, this proves that we should be an authoritarian state where the police have unlimited power, Trump is emperor for life and can choose his successor, big corporations ARE the government, and Black people can't vote. Heaven, for you and your kind.
