Kevin Lewis comments:
" . . . this isolated incident proves that all the protestors are subhuman, violent thugs and should all be teargassed, beaten, and imprisoned."
Poor old DonDiego opines that Kevin Lewis's conclusion is not entirely supported by the incident. Nonetheless, poor old DonDiego is unlikely to be attending any similar protests in the near future.
Kevin Lewis continues:
"I surmise this is the point that DonDiego is trying to make, as otherwise, it describes the actions of a single individual."
Indeed, it does describe the actions of a single individual attending the protest.
Kevin Lewis concludes:
"I also wonder why DonDiego puts 'peaceful protest' in quotation marks, as the actions of this one individual do not indicate that the protest was or was not peaceful overall."
Umm, . . . the term "peaceful protest" suggests an absence of firearms in the possession of the protestors, . . . at least it suggests it to poor old DonDiego.
Oh, . . . and technically, . . . the "non-peaceful behavior" of a single protester shooting someone does change the nature of the protest from "peaceful" to "non-peaceful".
Here's why:
The statement "He was shot at a peaceful protest" defies logic.
