Poland's offer on MiG fighter jets

We'll see if Biden has the guts to do this.  It's not any easy decision, but someone has to but the "big boy pants" on.

Would Boilerman be willing to risk a nuclear war by putting on Big Boy pants?    

I suspect we will try to choke Russia economically while supporting the Ukrainians with resistance supplies.   Reports show very low morale in the Russian army.     Ultimately its a war the Russians cant  win - the only question is how many dead bodies before it all ends.     

It's not about "guts" or manly manhood. History is chock full of wars started by someone who decided to be a "big boy." And even Boiler might realize that the stakes are really high here.

He might not know that Poland is a sovereign nation and ultimately will make its own military decisions. Poland would like the US to sell it more jets to replace the MIGs if they send them to Ukraine. But they'll decide on their own whether or not to send them in the first place. They. Not Biden.

We, or the EU nations, or some combination of the two, could stop the Russians dead in their tracks if we applied military force. However, the risk is horrible. Putin may very well be irrational and unbalanced. I don't want the world to end because of a misguided effort to STOP THEM ROOSKIES.

We can all thank whatever gods may be that Biden rather than Trump is in charge. Trump would do the manly man, big boy thing, as shown by his recent suggestion that we put Chinese insignia on our planes and bomb Moscow.

In any event, as long as the Ukrainians' morale holds out, we can keep pouring weapons and other aid into the country and make the war unwinnable for Putin. One signal aspect of war these days is that an armed insurgency can make life miserable for a modern army. 100 housewives with anti-tank missiles can take out 100 tanks. 100 taxi drivers can conceal themselves in buildings and blow the head off of any enemy soldier who shows his face. The truth is that it's the Russians who are outnumbered, when everyone has a Kalashnikov and a Molotov cocktail and hates the Russians' guts.

So we don't need to be John Wayne (or Slim Pickens) here.

Putin would never have tried this under Trump.  It's not happenstance that this has happened twice in the past decade, and both under Obama/Biden.

Actually, it IS happenstance. Russia's relationship with Ukraine has not diddly-fuck to do with whomever happens to be US President.

It's a stupid, predictable, tiresome conservitard argument that Putin invaded Ukraine because manly man Trump was no longer in office. In reality, it happened because Putin played Trump like a fucking orange fiddle, and he became frustrated that Biden wouldn't dance for him.

That's an unbelievably stupid and irresponsible thing to say. Billions of people would die in a nuclear war.

The reality is Trump was giving Putin what he wanted so there was no need to invade. He wanted to dissolve NATO and according to John Bolton if Trump had won a second term he would have dissolved NATO. That is what Putin wanted. Don't forget Trump blackmailed Ukraine and was enraged that they didn't take it. 

If Putin would have called Trump and said I am going to invade Ukraine Trump would have been thrilled.  He was in fact thrilled when he did invade given his glowing praise about Putin being a genius. He would have probably tried to get a Black Sea Trump tower deal though.
