Prepare for lots of free shit

If that's your belief, well, then, you're just doing the same Boilershit of claiming that others said something they never actually said. Obviously, the ocean is rising everywhere. PJ was referring to the irony of federal money being sent to the states that claimed it would never happen.

5 inches in 12 years or a little more than 3 feet in the next 100 years. Unless someone has a home within 4 feet of the ocean, not much to worry about.

When gore/Kerry/Obama sell their beachfront homes I will worry.

Besides in less than 12 years we will have died of heat or is it frostbite, hard to keep track of the latest

I am more worried about Biden's Chinese friends starting WW3

God, you're fucking stupid, Tommie-poo. The rise in ocean levels is VERTICAL. Distance from the ocean is HORIZONTAL.

Let's use stupid Tommie-poo logic. The ocean levels could rise by 1,000 feet, but only those who live within 1,000 feet of the ocean would be affected, right? If they rose by a mile, only those who live within a mile of the shore would be affected, RIGHT???

But yeah, stupid Tommie-poo, expend what little mental energy you have worrying about something imaginary supposedly connected to your mortal enemy, Biden.

Stupid Tommie-poo. Stupid, stupid, stupid Tommie-poo.

There's lots of voters in FLorida, South Carolina and Texas who feel the same way as Boilerman and Tom.   And that is reflected in the people the elected to be Senators and Governor.

Worth noting when those same people come groveling to the Federal Government for "free shit" after their coastal cities get smacked.      Stay tuned.

Florida property reinsurance rates expected to jump 40% to 50% in June

Gosh, I wonder why?

Because at any moment, Ron DeSantis could swing by, drop his pants, and shit on your land, and it would be poisoned and sterile for a thousand years.

Don't worry about climate change, goobers. It doesn't happen in states that send enough money to Dear Leader Donald J. Trump.

Yes, and at some point in the near future Florida will be begging for Federal tax dollars so their residents can continue to live too close to the coastline.  The Feds should quit rebuilding those beach homes because the taxpayers are funding an extravagant costal lifestyle for wealtly folks via Federal Flood Insurance

And the government should not reimburse Californians who build their homes in a wildfire area; or in a fault zone etc

I agree if the federal government is covering those costs that should be looked at as well.  The Feds are covering the costal stuff already through the Federal Flood Insurance program and that's just insanity to keep rebuilding those luxury homes.

Except Unlike FLorida, California has acknowledged the consequences of Climate Change and earthquakes and  has invested proactively in things like :

- burying power lines

- aggressively transforming its power grid to green energy

- aggressively moving its public fleet to EV cars

- rebuilding its resevoirs

- retrofitting buildings for earthquakes

- building desalinization plants

Thats what responsible, proactive government does with their own state's tax dollars.     When the governor of Florida isnt busy bullying his state's biggest money making company he's out cracking jokes about Climate Change.    So looks like California taxpayers will get to pay for his climate change consequences too.

In the meantime, Tom and friends can talk to us about liberals and other peoples' money.

The difference between California and the idiot Trumpy goober states is that Californians:

1. Are willing to pay taxes to support climate change mitigation efforts

2. Elect officials who implement such efforts

3. Don't vote for idiot Tommie-poo-attracting turds who make their political hay by denying climate change

4. Are reconfiguring their infrastructure to lessen the impact of wildfires, earthquakes, and other natural disasters

5. Are paying and will continue to pay for the effects of natural disasters in the Trumpy goober states, where such disasters are much worse due to lack of preparedness and climate change denial

Stupid Tommie-poo.
