President Trump Has Named His Running Mate

12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves;..."

So Florida electors could not vote for a Trump-DeSantis ticket.

Interesting! That might explain why, historically, so many vice-presidential/running mate choices have been "WHO??"

Though I'm sure that Trump would claim that he's actually an inhabitant of New York if it came down to that.

It's surprising just how far Florida Man's stock has sunk in the last couple of weeks. He appears to have the charisma of a puddle of vomit on a barroom floor, and his wacko-right wing shtick is wearing out its welcome mighty fast.

I have followed Trump most of my life and find him entertaining as hell, with a speaking voice and delivery that appeal to the majority of Americans.

I didn't realize until a few days ago, after finally actually listening to DeSantis deliver multiple speeches, how much DeSantis' speaking voice grates on me. His tone and timbre are the opposite of whatever this culture has trained me to respect and believe. It's the sound of him as much as what he says that puts me off.

Has anyone else experienced this? I find it weird that a speaking voice, as opposed to what he's saying, would put me off like this. I don't think a speaking voice has bothered me this much in my life.

Yes, with tRump's voice.

To me, President Trump speaks like a guy that you would sit and have a beer with while DeSantis is more calculated, so as not to give the corrupt media much to twist and spew their lies about. What I do like about BOTH of them is that they stand up for what is right for America and Americans. President Trump is what is needed now, DeSantis will the fit for the future after President Trump rights the wrongs that the corrupt DemocRats have done and continue to do to America.

Both of them spew awful shit that creates a much stronger reaction (revulsion) than the tone and timbre of their voices. As far as voice quality goes--Trump's is pretty good, and DeSantis' is awful. But it's really the difference between a pile of dogshit and another pile of dogshit with chocolate syrup on it.

Hitler had an excellent speaking voice. He even took lessons from an acting coach.

True story,  can't even imagine being daft enough to miss the fact that both of those pills of garbage are painfully full of bs, couldn't possibly be more obvious if they actually said it themselves
