Uh - BS.  The Democrat House passed their plan.   The Republican Senate did not...and 20 Republican Senators have said they will not vote for any more stimulus of any kind.    And to the extent the Senate cant pass their bill it is due to Republicans not wanting to extend the unemployment that you speak of.

If you did not lose your job or retirement income then your check from the government was not COVID assistance....it was what Boilerman refers to as "free shit".

Mind you, I dont have a problem with it.   THe person who started this thread does....and historically so  do you (at least when a Democrat signs the check).

DemocRats KNEW their asinine "bill" would not fly - this is all a political ploy by Pukelosi and the DemocRats - meanwhile millions of needful Americans are being victimized as the DemocRats press on for bailout money for their failed DemocRatic run cities - which has nothing to do with corona virus relief. Real Americans see this for what it is and thank the President for trying to do something positive for them in this time of need. --

So is the Republican plan--like a big basket of money to remodel the FBI building so Trump's nearby hotel can be profitable.

Perhaps Boiler would like to explain what that "non-CoVid" stuff is doing in the Republican bill. (There are many other things in their "plan" that have nothing to do with the pandemic, but I'll leave it up to Boiler to do his research--I'm not going to educate him any further.)
