Well yeah, you are going to wait, and then when the pdfs are published or Trump admits it you are going to...come up with an excuse for his behavior that makes it all okay. You know, just like I said:

Cult.

My cousin writes for the NY Times and most of what goes out these days is garbage  #un named sources

Why won't the times print the actual returns & the actual reports that mark is referencing?

I don't know, and actually, that is a good question.

But just watch the first debate and see if Trump makes a direct denial. This.Will. Be. Fun.

His tax returns are an unnamed source?

Because if there is litigation/prosecution of Trump arising from those documents, they don't want Trump to be able to claim that said publication resulted in those proceedings being biased, as in influencing jurors or judges.

I doubt that more than 0.0000001% of Trumpers would be able to correctly interpret those documents, but I'm certain that 100% will say they're fake or forged or something.

Or does anyone believe that Tom, shown those documents, would examine them and say, "OK, gee, it looks like the man whose love-slave I've been for the last four years is a lying, cheating tax fraud"?

One of the richest men in the world Warren Buffet has claimed for years he pays less in income tax than his secretary. Not sure I totally buy that but it just shows how big money people know HOW to preserve their earnings. They can afford the accounting firms that you and I could never imagine.

No, Buffet  doesn't pay less tax than his secretary - he pays fewer cents on every earned dollar.

In Trump's case, I paid more in actual Federal INcome tax than he did multiple years  (Not tax rate; actual dollars.)

And thats the eggregious tax system we have.   And its also what Democrats are trying to change.   And thats what every Republican campaign ad is trying to scare you about.

Once the times printed the story, they admitted they have the returns, so printing the returns isn't a factor, unless they don't have the returns & are making it up.

Our paper has a weekly "fact check" feature.  They describe 8 or 10 "facts" coming from different sources (tweets, facebook, you name it) and then the factual result of their fact checking.  It is actually alarming how much distortion comes out in social media, including stories, photos with captions, you name it.  Somebody is skilled at undermining whomever they want to; I'm sure they make money from "breaking" these types of fake stuff to any publisher desperate to beat someone else to a story.

Makes me not trust anything I read or hear about.

Donny TaxCheat can publish his tax returns like he's falsely promised for the last 4 years.   And I'm sure you would call that fake news too.

If the Times is lying about Trump's taxes they can easily be sued for defamation.    Denial is such sweet sorrow.
