Donald Trump in 2017 right before passing the "Simpler, fairer tax code". Simpler? Maybe. Its that "fair" part I'm not so sure about.
He then added: “And it’s not good for me, believe me.”

Our paper has a weekly "fact check" feature. They describe 8 or 10 "facts" coming from different sources (tweets, facebook, you name it) and then the factual result of their fact checking. It is actually alarming how much distortion comes out in social media, including stories, photos with captions, you name it. Somebody is skilled at undermining whomever they want to; I'm sure they make money from "breaking" these types of fake stuff to any publisher desperate to beat someone else to a story.
Makes me not trust anything I read or hear about.
Wow, you really are a victim here. (No sarcasm intended.)
Why don't you try something different? There are media sources that consistently get the facts right, almost every time. Try believing them.
Hahahahaha, Tom, that's how you do Trumper denial. You don't like it, they must have been making it up.
What I don't get is why you decided to abandon your reasoning power to become a Trump puppet. What's in it for you?

Well, Candy, you're underscoring the problem! Why on earth should social media be elevated to even a possible source of valid information? Do we "fact check" what Fred the Drunk is saying down at the local bar after he's had a few? Do we "fact check" late-night TV ads? No! Why not? Because they have no credibility. Why should we think social media has any?
Yet, so many people are completely ready to instantly believe any sort of crap they see on Facebook, Twitter, etc. etc. Unfathomably, simply because it's there and it says something they want to hear, they treat it as gospel.
I trust what I read in the New York Times, etc. because that information is thoroughly vetted. Furthermore, on the rare occasion when they get something wrong, they publish a correction. They do their own "fact checking" and in fact have dozens of employees who do nothing but that.
Contrast that with some random stooge who pieces together some images, gins up an idiotic slogan, and sticks his creation on Facebook for the world to admire. (Then, often, some clown posts it on an internet forum.) That pool of internet vomit is considered by many people to be a news source equal, or even superior to, "the mainstream media"!
It's no wonder this country is such a mess.
His taxes reveal one of two things...which one do you think is true?
I honestly dont know the answer but I think we now know why he hid his returns all this time.
Either :
1) He is a miserable business failure and money losing machine.
or
2) He is as good of a business man and as wealthy as he claims but has been cheating on his taxes with IRS where he claims the oppositte.
Which candidate had paid hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes over his lifetime and which candidate has never created an ounch of wealth over his lifetime?

Trump paid zero federal income taxes for ten out of the fifteen years examined. What makes you think he paid taxes in other years?
Of course, Trump could clear everything up by just releasing his taxes. But he knows it would hurt him with American voters who respect integrity and honesty and business success. (I don't think you are included in that group, Boilerman.)

Fun facts about 2016:
Total US Government spending : 4.1 trillion dollars.
Donald Trump's collected tax revenue : $750
US Population : 350 million people
Conclusion:
If every man, woman and child in the country contributed the same dollar amount to our federal tax revenues as Donald Trump that year we would have collected 262 Billion dollars.....resulting in a deficit of 3.84 trillion dollars.
Just a nice piece of trivia next time somebody wants to discuss the topic of "free shit"

Imagine the conservative zit-popping outrage if Barack Obama had cheated on his taxes. Or Joe Biden, for that matter.
The "party of fiscal responsibility"'s silence on this is deafening. They're all scumbag hypocrites.
