But all those Mormons outside of SLC with strong families and who don't drink, smoke etc. live shorter lifespans than those in the non-Asian occupied big city. Even in Utah. And California. And Oregon. And Washington. And Alaska.

Blacks in general do not live as long as others within the US.  Simple math (and life expectancy maps) tell us that states with a high percentage of blacks tend to be low on the life expectancy scale.  I will never argue that that aren't exceptions or that other factors don't come into play.  Some other interesting facts.......Tall people die sooner.  Skinny people live longer.  The next thing you know, Libs will tell me that they know a guy who's tall and lived a long time.  Yes, these things happen.

Asians and hispanics raise most states life expectancy, while blacks tend to lower life expectancy.  I understand also that Liberal hate facts, so don't worry your litte head.

Ignoring race, as we should, the real factor is poverty--there's an almost perfect correlation between a state's redness and its poverty level. The blue states are rich. The red states are poor. And unlike many correlations, there is also causation--Republicanism.

To draw the distinction--which I know is beyond you--black population and poverty: correlation. Political party and life expectancy: causation. Republicanism kills.

So according to your theory, all of those west coastal cities with a high black population should have a higher death rate, while the whiter rural inland areas should have a lower one.
