The liberals in here should be thankful that 60% of the FLA voting population chose DeSantis in the recent midterms. Why? Because he represents the newest and latest conservative whipping post you guys can stigmatize and rail on beyond Trump in the next 2 - 6 years. He provides a base from which your group can derive some fuel for your rantings / disagreements. Collectively, you should be ecstatic; I think down deep you already might be.

I don't know if he'll run ( but the high odds supporting that are indisputable). Youse guys can use him as the conflicting foundation from which to continue your base liberal vs base conservative issue saga , regardless of what you might alternatively label it ( eg roll out the wild card morality wagon, etc.). I'd think you'd be happy about his presence in the foreseeable future political lens. Face it, most of you guys apparently want and need a political foe in order to subsist in your digital nirvana here.

From my own personal conservative bunker, I can't envision a current D (or R either, for that matter) candidate as a worthy opponent vs DeSantis. Yet, I could be wrong ( unlike your individual / group members here), as time can expose people and issues. Some times individuals get caught on record in the back of the barn with goats..or analogous things/ species.

Are most of you liberals going to support Biden again? DeSantis or not? How / why? For those who do / will support him, is it because he has generally adhered to far left ideologies? Is this guy left enough to keep you content with his policies?

I vote for people with integrity, character, and competence. Political/ideological affiliation is a distant fourth. I've yet to see any Republican since McCain who qualifies on the primary three counts.
