And according to some here, a bad economy kills people!

Do I have to say it again? Okay, I'll say it:
Leadership matters.

Lack of leadership matters not at all--to Trumpers.
I have argued for South Korea type corona policies all along. Take precautions while keeping all businesses open. More each day are agreeing with me, yet it's largely too late for the US. All Liberals have argued for closing almost everything, and that the economy largely doesn't matter when it comes to corona.
Kevins argument that that a bad economy only kills babies, and this data should be ignored.

You know, Boilerman, there's little need to argue over this. Very soon we're going to be able to look at the death rate AND the economic downturns in states that were aggressive, like California, Oregon, and Washington, and then compare them with states that lagged like Florida and Texas.
Maybe we can settle ALL of our arguments once and for all.
Germany's Info think tank projects a 20.6% drop in GDP.
Mp's study should include the world champion of the China virus - the NY met area with almost 200,000 cases.

Wrong, asshole, I argued that infant mortality increases caused a drop in life expectancy in the US during a specific four-year period in history. You're the one who brought that up.
Quit twisting my words. It's the act of a coward.

Are you seriously suggesting that conservatives will suddenly start believing in science, facts, and data?
You know, the way they say that climate change is a liberal hoax perpetuated by the fake news media?

How convenient that you left off the US epicenter of the pandemic, New York State. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. Yeah right.

OK, Charles, New York is full of no-good snowflake liberals, and Rush Limbaugh says that Covid-19 is a liberal disease. That's what you want to hear, right?
CA, OR, and WA took aggressive mitigation measures, which are working, because they have good leadership. New York City's mayor initially dropped the ball, but eventually also issued a lockdown order, which is also working.
Nine Trumper states have no lockdowns in place at all. However, most Trumper states eventually went to lockdowns, albeit later than the west coast States.
So it's been a question of leadership, not party affiliation. The difference between DeBlasio and the nine idiot Trumper governors is that the former realized his mistake and corrected it; the Trumpers doubled down.
Bad leadership kills..
It was diblasio & cuomo's incompetence that created the hotspot that has over 40% of the cases, but it doesn't count because they are Democrats.
Your anti-Republican bias qualifies you for a job at CNN.
