Second stimulus package blocked by the Republicans

On Friday, Pelosi offered to meet the Republiholes halfway. The House passed a $3 trillion relief package. The Republiholes wanted $1 trillion--much of it to go to Trump's business buddies. Pelosi said okay, how about $2 trillion? That's what normally happens when two parties are opposed--they reach a halfway compromise. But noooo...the Republiholes want their ideological purity, which means give big corporations and the rich gobs and gobs of money, and screw everyone else.

My question is: how do you think this will affect the Senate races in November? I think that the people will be pretty pissed at the Republiholes who opposed giving survival money to people out of work because of the pandemic. It'll give ammo to the Democrats running against the vulnerable Republican senators. I can see only one victory for the MAGA morons--in Alabammer. The voters there decided that they didn't want a pedophile in office, but they're OK with a "normal" Republihole---in other words, that's the limit of their moral outrage. But all the other races? It looks like quite possibly every other GOP seat up for grabs will flip.

I loathe the Republican party and everything it stands for, so I'm rather pleased to see them throwing themselves on their swords like this. A LOT of people will be badly hurt by the Republicans cutting off aid, but maybe it'll be worth it come November when we restore decency and the rule of law to America. Democratic rule in the House AND the Senate will make it much easier for Biden to fix all the Trump damage.

The DemocRats, Pukelosi and Screwmer, added items that they knew would not be acceptable in the 2nd package - knowing full well that the Republicans would not accept their asinine package demands- and all done with the sole purpose of trying to affect the upcoming November election. Everyone knows this. Just like the first stimulus package, the DemocRats are holding up the release of needed assistance for millions of Americans while playing politics. Voting these DemocRat traitors out of office would be the first step to righting the nation and moving forward in bringing the nation together. 

The Republicans offered to extend the unemployment while the negotiations continued but fish face declined.

She held up the prior package for 2 weeks after she got involved at the last minute.

Golly, the only offer they made was one week at $600 which was not much of an extension.  Face it Tom, Republicans are incompetent. They can't deliver

any package in the Senate. Mitch says whatever they pass 15-20 Republicans aren't going to vote for their own package.

That's the Trumptard way of looking at it. The House passed the second stimulus bill over two months ago. Moscow Mitch refused to even consider it until very recently. He hoped to put pressure on the Democrats to allow a distortion of the bill to be a bailout for big corporations.

Those of you Trumptards with short memories may not recall that Mitch & Co. attempted to steal several hundred billion for themselves when the first package was being considered. This is just more of the same.

We knew that the Republiholes would block any more pandemic relief and then claim it was the Democrats' fault. They offered a bill that contained less than one-third of what the House had approved. Of course, that wasn't acceptable. It's a classic Republican shit tactic to make unreasonable demands and then blame the other side when they don't accede to those demands.

Playing politics? The Republiholes are playing with people's lives. Shame on you Trumptards for supporting that. Thank God, your kind is disappearing.

One more week at $600 while negotations were going on would have helped millions - but Pukelosi derailed that in the name of politics - just like she held up the first stimulus package. The Democrats offered to split the difference between the $3 trillion they wanted and the $1 trillion the Republicans wanted. The Republicans said no. They're not negotiating in good faith.

As I stated before, the DemocRats knew when they drew up their asinine list of demands that their list would not be acceptable. Trump told reporters that his administration is working “in good faith” to reach an agreement on the next stimulus package with Democratic leaders, before lambasting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) for seeking funding for states and cities that he said have been mismanaged by Democratic politicians.

Trump said he is prepared to take four actions without Congress: defer the payroll tax until the end of the year; enhance unemployment benefits until the end of the year; defer student loan payments and forgive interest indefinitely; and reinstate a federal moratorium on evictions.If the POTUS does act then it will almost certainly result in multiple lawsuits by the Democrats' legal army as well as obstruction from their stable of activist judges who have spent nearly four years abusing the nation's courts to wage war on President Trump. 

With the election less than three months away it is a major gambit by Pelosi to deprive Americans of economic relief including stimulus payments of up to $3,500 for a family and there could be a backlash at the ballot box if voters see the spiteful speaker as the cause of their pain
