Trump hasn't done anything--because he can't. He wants to be emperor of the United States, but he's only President. Congress controls spending--not him. His executive orders are illegal. Where would the money come from? Is he going to sell his golf courses?

Republicans in the Senate sat on this for months hoping to gain leverage if they waited until the last minute. The Democrats in the House passed their bill months ago.
Then the Republicans in the Senate discovered they couldn't agree on anything. Mitch says 15-20 Republicans will not vote for the final bill after reconciliation no matter what is in it. For example, if Democrats in the House said ok we agree 100% with the Republican Senate plan and will just pass that, there still aren't enough Republicans in the Senate to pass their own bill. To say it is democrats that didn't get the job done is just plain false. It was republican incompetence at governing that created the failure. The Republican stimulus plan is just like the Republican health care plan.
What a bunch of lies.
