Try reading the article.  These were 2 high end restaurants that couldn't make any money because the illegals don't have any money.

Remember they are not supposed to be costing any money but are costing the city $4b per year.

And we still have record low unemployment.  

These 100,000 people don't have any jobs, don't have any skills. are poorly educated & can't speak English.  Most of the current job openings (which are declining) are in transportation, education, health care & retail.  These are jobs that require various job skills, the ability to speak English as well as other education skills.

I have never said I am against immigration.  I and almost 70% of the rest of the population agree.  What we don't want are people walking or sneaking across the border without any controls.

Thats why NYC has 100,000+ people & growing with no jobs &  living in tents,  Thats why we have 87,000 children missing.

Lets face the elephant in the room.  The real reason is that the democrats see this as a source of voters & don't really care hwo to take care of them

The issue you present is real...unfortunately you and everyone on your side of the aisle isnt interested in fixing it.  In fact, you promote making it  worse.     Trump cut the funding for the processing of these people who are so desperately needed in our workforce.   And now he and you complain about the unprocessed masses who get assistance.

I'd rather have them work and pay taxes.   WHite nationalists like you prefer to build a wall and cut immigration hearings and personnel.  So congratulations on making government smaller and cutting spending in the immigration department.  YOu actually ended up increasing it.

And these people did not "sneak" across the border.  They legally applied for assylum in this country.   Thats a fact you have been purposefully in denial of forever...because calling them illegal makes your white nationalism seem less guilty.  Whatever helps you sleep at night.

If Tom did a "Bud Light" style boycott of all the businesses that employ first generation immigrants (the same ones he says cant work becasue they dont have skills)...he would have to cross out 70% of the places he does business today..   

....And he would have to avoid 70% of the items in the produce and meat aisles at his grocery store. 

...And he would certainly have to cancel any upcomng trips to Vegas becasue every hotel, restaurant, casino and bar in that city has newly naturalized citizens working for them.    

Too bad those people cant boycott the consumers who gain from the fruits of their labor.

running the border is illegal & stupid. NYC now has 100,000+ people

The end game?  Gee - Why dont you ask your hotel maid next time you are in Vegas?  The one you claim cant work because she doesnt have any skills.   12% of our population are first generation immigrants.   Total unemployment is only 3.4%.    So you cant do math and you dont know demographical statistics.  More importantly you are purposefully oblivious to the 100 "help wanted" signs you see every day.

What has become obvious is that NYC is a microcosm of the border crisis in that the country is not capable of handling these millions of people.  

Letting millions of people come into the country with no jobs or means of support & hoping it will work out is terrible policy.

Thats exactly right.  SO you can either add more resources to process those people....or you can try to end immigration.    And thats really not a choice because any Repulican Farmer (and the propritors of Mara Lago) will tell you  their busineses cant operate unless they welcome the people they have declared a culture war upon.
