Socrates Rightfully Stated - as Seen Today With DemocRATs

True then, even moreso now --  May be an image of text that says 'Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. Only weak minds end up on the left side of politics, it is proportionate to their proportionate minds weakness, the more weaker, the more left. -Socrates'

Socrates never said this. The left right political spectrum started in the mid-late 1700s.

You may want to consider doing some vetting/research before repeating things you read on the Internet.

I reposted what was previously posted to the internet. You always object to the sourcing of a statement while never disputing the veracity of the comment. Apparently you place most of the value on form  - and not on content. No matter who said it, it fittingly applies to today's DemocRATs.

Actually, he objected to both aspects of your post. He DID INDEED dispute the "veracity of the content"--a quote attributed to Socrates that Socrates never said. He then mentioned that the sourcing of your content was suspect as well.

If it doesn't matter who said it, then why attribute it to Socrates? Because the fool who posted this lie--and the fool who copied and pasted it here--thought it would look "wiser" if it was falsely attributed to Socrates. I understand why--it wouldn't look very good to have the quote attributed to "Some random MAGA fool from the garbage can of the internet."

This latest post of yours, like all your dogshit, fails on both form AND content. Form, because it uses a false attribution. Content, because it's just more MAGA wailing about "the left."

Im 100% positive David has no idea who Socrates was.    He just posted something he found on dumbfuck.com

Duhhh...wuzn't Socrates a third baseman for the Cleveland Indians?

That post shows just how moronic MAGA can be. Barfing out your stupid little thoughts and then attributing them to...duhhh, lemme think of some smart person...let's see, Google search...oh yeah, here we go, Socrates!

If David put any effort into his shit-posts, he would have looked at that and said to himself, "That guy claims to be quoting Socrates; well, that's dumb, I can't copy and paste that." But David can't think and post at the same time.

Do you have a chart or graph to go with your response?   I always look forward to your postings that have one or the other included.....

In this instance I am objecting to the accuracy., or rather the lack therof.

You posted a quote attributed to an individual. I corrected the record. I despise misinformation. Nothing personal.

There are a lot of memes around and false quotes that portray thoughts or ideas that I share. I don't repost or repeat them because I value honesty and accuracy. If I post a meme or quote that turns out to be inaccurate it makes me look like a fool. Then I lose credibility.

Remember the old quote:

"Roughly half of what you see on the internet is bullshit. The other is pledgerized". - Aspasia of Miletus

Duly noted. The individual that the post attrituted the quote to, "Socrates" was incorrect - but the content of the quote is/was correct. If you want to focus on "misinformation", all you have to do is view/read anything a DemocRAT says - that will keep you occupied 24/7.

Total bullshit to attribute a made-up quote supporting your personal political views to one of the great thinkers.  Worse bullshit to try to rationalize it.
