THE State of the Union Thread

Okay, I'll start.

Linguists tell us that most people say "uh" or "um" about once every 60 words. I predict a lot of those oh-ums are going to be edited into videos mocking President Biden. Does anyone want to take that bet?

And anytime President Biden misspeaks about anything, it will be taken as signs of dementia by some dipshits. Funny, that didn't happen when Obama said there were "53 states." Because the attack on Obama then was that he was somehow un-American (i.e. unWhite).

And here is my big prediction (drumroll): If the President of Ukraine should make a video appearance appealing for aid, President Biden will not respond by saying, "I would like you to do us a favor." You know, like the last guy.

I'm not absolutely sure of the above, but I like my chances!

We can DEFINITELY count on Tommie-poo watching the broadcast extremely intently--his nose pressed against the picture tube, scanning avidly for any stutter or misspoken word. Then he'll run back here and bleat about it. This, we know.

The conservitard media will babble the usual stupid shit about Biden's radical liberal socialist socialist liberal radical agenda, criticize him for not doing enough while simultaneously criticizing him for everything he has done, and obsess on inflation (of course) while ignoring the booming economy (of course). This, we can count on. Our local conservitards will just echo all that shit, of course. They're neither able nor inclined to think for themselves. They just regurgitate whatever they've been fed, on cue.

One item of interest will be who the RepubliQ choose for their "response" to Biden's speech. In the past, it's usually been some rising star in the party, a bone thrown to him for his dogged party loyalty. I predict it'll be one of the more loony tunes suspects, like Hawley or Abbott.

You guys don't need to cover for him this early - unless you are anticipating as many slip ups as we are.  He has been looking at that teleprompter all day so he should be OK for this.  But then again.........

Teleprompters! Remember when they were about the worstest thing ever for a president between about 2001 to 2008, and then the became cool between 2017 and 2020, and now they are back to being terrible? Funny coincidence, huh? 

Well, I guess it's a liberal radical left-wing socialist thing I have--but I don't criticize or make fun of someone with a speech impediment, or say that such a handicap means that someone is intellectually deficient. So if someone hesitates, stutters, or misspeaks while giving a speech, that just means...they're a lousy speaker.

The Orange Pusbag always rambled off topic, mused aloud about random nonsense, misspoke (often using completely wrong words), and when he was parked in front of a teleprompter, frequently misread it. But conservitards didn't question his mental competence (though they should have)--on the contrary, they said he was a stable genius.

I still cherish the moment when Trump told us how George Washington had defeated the British "by taking over all the airports."

Let's forget Tommie-poo's obsession with Pelosi (BTW, names are capitalized, stupid Tommie-poo). However, I can't help but recall that it was a moment when Pelosi absolutely owned the Orange Pusbag--Tommie-poo's hero.

I did a little research into whether the dumb fucks who elected them are likely to do so again. In the case of Greene, the constituents in her district are apparently embarrassed by her behavior and her chances of reelection are basically nil. But for Boebert, her scumbag behavior is attracting even more adherents. The takeaway is--never visit Rifle, Colorado. Just keep driving along I-70 until you get to the next town. Why would you want to stop in a shithole full of gun nuts who elected a high school dropout to represent them?

Not that I think Boebert is anything but the perfect representative for that community of crazy assholes.
