The Stupidity of the "Green New Deal"

They have 7 years to solve the lithium shortage, the lack of charging stations, the range issues, the expensive price & cost to replace the batteries (you may need a loan to replace them)

drive his Lincoln Navigator.

Pj - In NY I have a Toyota Camry & when I am working in Phoenix I have a Hyundai Sonata hybrid.  If I drive an electric car to Las Vegas my charge would die before I get to Kingman; unless I bought one of those $60k plus cars.  There are no chargers on the way to Kingman

Look up the history of gasoline car introduction--no gasoline, no filling stations, no repair parts, no repairmen, no roads suitable for cars, short range, oil leaks, accidents, etc.  I'm guessing you would have insisted on riding a horse.

By the way, the largest automobile manufacturers in the word disagree with you.

What moron started this nothing burger thread?

Yeah, and they just got a bunch of money to build them from the energy bill you and every Republican were unilaterally against.

And  I'm still waiting for you to show me how "EV Vehicles" is some kind of liberal government decision as oppossed to one made by every free-market auto manufacturer on the planet in every country on the planet.

Stupid Tommie-poo will continue to evade your question. Hilarious that he thinks he knows more than every major auto manufacturer. But then, he lives in the last century--and did I mention that he's really, really fucking stupid?

The last gas Mustang . . . as well as the last gas Challengers and Chargers, to be replaced by electric variations.  I guess Tom's insights and special knowledge didn't make it to these manufacturers.

You know, Tommie-poo's outdated thinking is why conservatism is destroying America. An obsession with "the good old days" (which actually sucked for a lot of people) creates a resistance to change. Stupid Tommie-poo isn't opposed to electric vehicles so much as he's afraid of them--because being a conservitard, he's afraid of the future.

Stupid, obsolete Tommie-poo.

It was the brilliant acumen of the auto industry that almost bankrupted them a few years ago.  More recently they also decided to make gas guzzling suvs instead of sedans, thinking oil was going to be cheap forever.

OK, stupid Tommie-poo. You know more than they do.

What a fool.

They manufacture what their customers want.    I would agree people who buy a school bus for their commuter vehicle aren't wise to the historical fluctuations in the oil market.    But thats what they wanted.  I dont feel bad for them - nor do I blame the manufacturers for their voluntary purchase.      Ford and Chevy quit making compact cars because they couldnt sell them.

I suggest Tom try building a business selling stuff that nobody wants and see how successful he is.

(Proud Ford Focus owner here.    Got mine the last year they made them - 2018.  Cheap  gas, cheap insurance, cheap maintenance, good reliability.    Too bad I cant get another one.)
