Taliban have been doing things like this for years this is nothing new.
Just because " Taliban have been doing this for years this is nothing new" does not make it acceptable. What would you be saying if YOU or someone you knew were one of the one's being beheaded?
I would be saying it is terrible that the US cannot or will not retaliate, (not use beheadings because they wouldn't care, they live it) but as in bomb the hell out of those people, taking out the leaders in the process. This was my thought when they broadcast the beheading of journalist Daniel Pearl. I can't recall any retaliation on the part of the US.
Supposedly we have the most advanced technological, communication, warfare, surveillance capabilities, but I guess we are actually way behind or at least do not choose to retaliate. Just empty "we will find you" threats on TV. There should have been a force ready to sweep in and rescue Daniel Pearl. I'm still mad about that one.
I have no problem with Boilerman and friends nominating a candidate for president in 2024 on the platform of sacrificing our troops, money, and resources to prop up Afghanistan's corrupt goverment to fight the Taliban for another 2 decades.

Funny remark since President Trump, a Republican, was in the process of getting the United States out of Afghanistan- in a sane, orderly manner. Of course, PJ apparently has no problem with the mishandling fiasco that Bided mandated and carried out. I have had enough of this insanity.
Well David, if you want to believe the Afghan President and his band of cowards' decision to surrender to the Taliban was contingent upon which US President removed our troops from the region then you go right ahead and tell yourself that.

What the Afghan President did had nothing to do with the Biden withdrawl fiasco -and the resulting murder and beheadings that are happening to the very Afghan people you are so vocally protective of. The obvious is undeniable - Biden and his hand picked military morons screwed the withdrawl - and all of the Ameiricans and Afghans that have lost their lives and will lose their lives are your President's fault. - And YOU can believe that.
PJ, it's been a cluster fuck. Biden has abandoned folks that we should have made sure got out of the country. This reminds me of the celebrations for peace after Vietnam, right before a couple of million were murdered. Apparantly a lack of war doesn't always equate to peace, but self absorbed Liberals can always feel comfortable with heads in the sand.
