No one said the beheading was acceptable. The US was there 20 years and that did nothing to change the Talibans way of doing things. Whose to say it would have been any different if the former president had made the pullout
Biden's ineptness got these people killed. The Taliban using the intelligence that Biden left to figure out who helped us, and then they track these folks down and kill them.
This is the very intelligence that we need to vett US bound Afghans, but Sleepy left it for the terrorists.

No one can say what would have happened if "the former president had made the pullout". It might have been worse. It might have been better. It might not have even happened. The point is that our elected officials need to be held accountable for their failures. This mission was botched. If you allow the excuse that "the same results might have happened" if someone else were in office, then no leader is ever responsible for anything because it doesn't matter who is calling the shots. The other guy might have done worse.
But in this line of thought, can you imagine if it was in fact President Trump who presided over this debacle? Our resident Trump Deranged Democrats would be screaming from the highest mountains "Trump has blood on his hands. Impeach him! Impeach him!" You know that's true. We all do.

Right on cue...PJ excuses Biden and blames Trump. 'which isn't to say it was his fault' is simply a way to not blame the current Commander in Chief but to blame someone else and say but no it's no ones fault really. The trick here is to conflate most American's support for getting out with the actual way it was done. Yeah. We want out. But it's like this mission was executed by an idiot who had no clue.
But I'm sure PJ realizes it's the botched evacuation that most people are objecting to. We all saw what happened and no amount of spin will change that. Biden did not follow Trump plan which was conditional. The fact that Biden 2 weeks earlier claimed it would be orderly that there would be no collapse and went on vacation while it was coming down is the ultimate ineptitude.

The evacuation is a disaster. And its a tragedy. I never said otherwise.
I blame the 200k Afghan army and its leader for surrendering. Charles blames the 3k American Troops and their leader for not securing an area the size of Texas.
