Barbershops were closed in March. Why was 1 barbershop open?
If the shutdown order was rescinded why was only 1 barbershop open?
Did Kevin tell another fib?

In Oregon, barbershops and hair salons were closed on a county-by-county basis, and the statewide lockdown orders did not take effect until the governor's March 23 announcement. Therefore, it was quite possible to get a haircut in March.
The two barbershops that closed before the lockdown order did so because they knew the lockdown order was coming. I got my haircut at the third a few days before the lockdown was set to take effect.
I don't owe Tom The Trumper any explanation, but it's a slow morning.

Reluctant Trump Voter Speaks
[posted without indication of agreement or disagreement - DD]
Thanks to DonDiego for posting the link.
The woman, though, is a complete moron. She said that she voted for Trump in 2016 as "the best of two bad choices." That, as I've said before, is like ordering the rat turd sandwich because you don't want the meat loaf. I'm sure, though, that DonDiego would agree with her.
I would only ask her and DD one simple question: given what you've seen from this horrid President, do you still think Hillary was the poorer choice?
Can anyone say that Hillary, or anyone else holding office would have done differently? I'm she she would say so now, in hindsight.
Where was the Surgeon General in all this? Isn't that the top of the heap for public health matters? There had to be SOMEBODY who could say THIS HAS TO BE DONE? Of course they'd have to be ready to be fired since I think it is a political appointment.
Kevin Lewis asks poor old DonDiego : " . . . given what you've seen from this horrid President, do you still think Hillary was the poorer choice?"
Absolutely !
Poor old DonDiego opines the Clintons are among the least trustworthy people to ever enter the US political realm.
Sometimes the American electorate just somehow gets things right.
Here's the conclusion from a Politico article of March 2016, What's Wrong with Hillary :
"The polls and the gamblers now say such concerns [about Bill & Hillary's opportunistic political history] are misplaced; that the broad American electorate will simply not put so manifestly unqualified and unfit a candidate as Donald Trump in charge of our nuclear codes. But as I wrote here seven months ago, What If Trump Wins, every once in a while, voters discover they have the power to do something they have never done before; and that discovery itself becomes a significant political force. Should that happen, Democrats will need a candidate well-positioned to resist that power.
It’s far from clear that Hillary Clinton is that candidate."

OB, I refer you to the attached video, where many of our leaders were ignoring the problem for months.

The reason why our response to the pandemic has been so poor is that whatever has or hasn't been done has been according to whether it would help or hurt Trump politically, not whether it would help contain the virus.
Obviously, we'll never know one way or the other, but I believe Hillary would have listened to the experts and followed their advice. Whatever you may think of her politics, she was and is a "policy wonk" and has worked hard to come up with detailed solutions to issues based on the data and the analysis thereof. She wouldn't have spent the first several months of the pandemic picking her nose and lying, as Trump did.

That doesn't sound like either an endorsement or a condemnation.
I would like to ask DonDiego a further question: Does he believe that Donald Trump is MORE trustworthy than Hillary Clinton?
His answer, I fear, will be profoundly disappointing, ignorant of reality, and a cause for my regard of poor old DonDiego (which is and has been fairly high) to plummet like an elevator when the cable snaps. But let's give him a chance first.
"Obviously, we'll never know one way or the other, but I believe Hillary would have listened to the experts and followed their advice"
I refer kevin to the above video where the experts including Dr Double Talk gave the wrong information, where they said it is no big deal, go party in Chinatown, don't wear a mask, wear a mask. The CDC said they had a test & wouldn't allow anybody else to develop one & it turns out they didn't have a test.
