There Was A MAGA On The Plane On My Las Vegas Trip

On the trip, I just got back from 3 weeks or so ago, there was actually a MAGA on the plane on my flight to Vegas.  She sat one row up from me and across the aisle.   She was a heavy-set lady with dark red hair. I’d peg her as being in her mid to late 50s. 

How do I know she was a MAGA?  As soon as she took her seat at boarding her mask came off. At least five times throughout the flight, flight attendants asked her to put her mask on. She would but as soon as they would turn their back and walk down the aisle she would take her mask off again. Each time she grinned like Cheshire cat afterward. They tried having different flight attendants ask throughout the flight but the result was the same each time.  I don’t get why people put up with these idiots.  They should have duck-taped her to the seat so she couldn't take her mask off.  Instead, they didn’t give her so much as a slap on the wrist.  

The only way these MAGA terrorists will learn is if they get punished for their bad behavior. 

Just because a person conducts themselves as this female did does not automatically mean that they are, as you say, a "MAGA". Unless you have bona fide proof that this female is what you say she is, your label is, at beast, a guess. I know several liberals who refuse the mask mandate and do conduct themselves in the same manner this female did. I will say this, anyone flying should wear a mask, and if they refuse, they should be removed from the aircraft and placed on a "no fly" list.

I agree with David. Not "automatically." There was at least an 0.03% chance that she was actually a flaming left-wing liberal Biden and Obama voter who donates to Greenpeace and PETA.

In the same fashion, if you encounter someone on the street with a crazed expression on his face, holding a serrated knife that's dripping blood, he could be the butcher at a nearby grocery store taking a coffee break. You can't "automatically" assume he's dangerous.

Nope. Sorry. The actions of the MAGA morons described in previous posts were intentional, deliberate, and repeated. They were openly defying mask regulations and attacking those who tried to tell them to wear a mask. The scratchy, jerky You Tube video shows, at worst, Biden being forgetful. That's not the same thing.

However, let's not be duped into thinking that video is authentic. The video stops and starts several times before Biden is shown shaking hands. Ten minutes could have elapsed between Biden's cough and his handshakes. Why is the video so jerky? Looks like it was "edited," as in, doctored.

But in any event, so the fuck what? Whatever Biden may have actually done, it's not the same thing as violating federal law by repeatedly removing one's mask on an airplane or assaulting and screaming at restaurant employees because you don't want to wear a mask. Not even remotely the same thing.

I know that Trumpers LUVVV to use false equivalence arguments, but this one, dude, is pretty weak sauce. Biden made a mistake (if we believe the video). The MAGA assholes were deliberately defiant, confrontational, and violent.

And I never said that Facebook was the sole source of conservitard bullshit. Sometimes, the legitimate news networks get duped into repeating conservitard bleats and propaganda. Or, Fox News and its clones scream so long and hard about something that the legitimate networks feel obligated to comment on it.

I'm rather amused that you didn't actually read that CNN story. It mentioned that Biden spent much of his time away from the White House working remotely. It's this new thing called the internet. Maybe you've heard of it. In contrast, Trump did nothing but play golf, watch Fox News, and make out with Rudy Giuliani when he was at Mar-El-Asshole.

That article also doesn't mention that Trump worked a four-hour day when he was in the White House.

Ummmm......Earth to Kevin.  That is all Biden does is forget things!  You have to be he most naive person in the world to not recognize that right now.  Did you hear his Amtrak story the other day?  Where he said his friend came to him when he broke the mileage record in 2015.  That friend hasn't worked there since 1993.  And small fact, he died in 2014.  I'm not sure a nursing home would take him at this point......

Nope. He's old, and sometimes forgetful. I prefer that to Trump, who was and is a highly skilled grifter, con man, liar, and asshole.

However, Trump made literally thousands of verbal missteps, nonsensical statements, and factual errors during his awful Presidency. My favorite was his story about George Washington winning the Revolutionary War by taking over all the airports. None of you conservitards made alarmed posts then about how Trump was obviously losing it.

Just a news flash for you--Biden was about my twelfth choice for President in 2020. He was selected precisely because he's innocuous. Each President is largely a response to the last one. Carter was a response to Nixon, as though he turned out to be a lousy President, he definitely wasn't a crook. Biden is a response to Trump, as he's definitely a good and honest man. Do I think he's doing a particularly good job? No. But his heart's in the right place. To me, that matters a lot. To you, that may not matter at all. You can ridicule and belittle it, but the fact of the matter is that a President with a moral center is vastly preferable to a President who lacks one.

I would say something about maybe you all should consider supporting Biden, since he is in fact the President and is in fact trying to help all Americans, but all I'd get is a sneering false equivalence "why didn't you support Trump, then?" response. I didn't support Trump because he wasn't trying to do good--not at all. Trump worked for Trump--exclusively. I respect Biden for trying to do good, whether or not he ultimately succeeds.

I do expect that the above will fall on deaf ears, so I think I'll have some tomato soup and sourdough bread and watch Tucker Carlson own the libs.
