The Transformation of California Into a Shithole is a Direct Result of Democratic Rule

Then tone down the hyperbole, e.g. "used needles and human shit everywhere throughout the city" in order to be taken for credible.  You are better than that, IMO.

Years ago I attended a kind of 'town gathering', a fish fry in a nice family-owned restaurant where a noted polititian spoke about his platform.  It was election time.  Folks asked questions and he answered them.  It was overall a polite atmosphere, few raised voices, no yelling, no ugly speaking.

The next day our newspaper ran an article about it.  The writer characterized the restaurant as a "beer hall" and the verbal exchanges as a "bar fight."  Clearly she was on the opposite side politically from the speaker, but she was the one assigned to cover it, so....

This educated me that one cannot always get accurate information from newspapers, and that was before Internet and all kinds of social media out there now.

Had I not been there myself I might have believed it to be just how it was written up.  That's all.

What you call " hyperbole" is on record and will continue to be proven time and again as California is turned into a cesspool by the Democrats. But don't take my word for it - time will bear out the undenyable facts and truth.

The hyperbole Candy is referring to is David's asshole language.

Not correct, Kevin.  The hyperbole I refer to is the 'vision' (perhaps only mine) of needles and feces covering the streets, sidewalks, bridges, parks, etc. "throughout the city."  I liked SF a lot the two times I visited there, but those were decades ago.  If I thought this 'vision' of mine was the truth, I surely would not consider ever going there again.  But somehow that sounds too awful to be actually true.

Candy - it is ALL true, and easily verified by going online and viewing videos posted by local and national media outlets.

Post it. Local and national media.

And not any of your facebook bullshit, Davee-Boi.

Or it's just another of your lies.

Candy, if the Milller-thing copies and posts hyperbole, then he's uttering hyperbole himself. And you know perfectly well that conditions in SFO couldn't possibly even remotely resemble the way Miller-thing describes them.

Why tolerate his lies?

He's not "better than that," by the way. About a year ago, he posted an identical screed about SFO. He helpfully appended some photos. EXCEPT--those photos weren't of SFO; they were of a city in India! Whoever doctored Miller-thing's photos forgot to blot out a couple of signs. I called him out on it and he screamed at me and called me a liar and told me I was destroying America.

Don't treat him as if he were human. He isn't.

I was at an coatings industry meeting six years ago in Minneapolis, and met a gentleman from Sausalito, CA.  I visited there once in the early 1990's, so I had a feel for what it was like then.  We talked about what 3 BR 1900 sq ft, car port, 70 year old, well maintained home would cost on the side of the mountain.  After discussing how many millions, I mentioned how the homes higher up the hill must be more expensive due to the better view.  He said that views are all similar, but the houses higher up are more expensive because they are far more isolated from the homeless, their drugs, crime, camps, and needles.

I have one quite Liberal brother.  He fully supported the vagrants in Portland taking over several Portland city blocks a couple years back.  On the other hand, he lives in an exclusive neighborhood just outside of Asheville, NC with houses running from $1.5 - $3 million.  He's on the homeowners association board, and he and others aggressively worked with the mayor, and the police chief to assure high school kids were prevented from parking on their cul-de-sac to watch summer sunsets.  After all, they occasionally blocked driveways, and sometimes left beer cans.  Liberals never recognize their magnificent double standards and hypocricy.

I don't believe that you've been invited.  BTW, I have an 11am flight today to the great state of Texas.  I'll be mixing a little business with pleasure.
