tRump is calling his minions for another D.C. riot.

Did anybody in 2016 think Trump was a good guy?  I certainly didn't.

Yes! The 75 million thought not only that, but also that he was a genius and the savior of the country!

You gotta realize, many of the "features" that make this horrid piece of human garbage so utterly repulsive to you and me make him hypnotically attractive to the goobers. Crude and insulting? "He tells it like it is." Lies through his teeth? "He shares what he's thinking." I don't need to go on.

Always keep in mind that no matter where you may go in the US, almost half of the adults you encounter (some places more than others, obviously) observed this awful fuck's behavior and decided that he should be President of the United States. The only consolation is that if I'm ever on a crashing plane, I'll know that a hundred or so Trumpers will be wiped out along with me.

Yep I do realize that.  However, I think a lot of that 75M just voted on party lines.  I didn't.  How many do you really think worship him in that way?  20M?

I know I got into it with my brothers who told me he was a sucessful businessman.

Yeah, actually, I do (though exact numbers are obviously hard to obtain). The thing is, Trump's repulsiveness should have induced many of the auto-Republicans to sit this one out, or maybe leave that part of their ballots blank. That was an option that would have let them feel good about themselves while still remaining faithful party loyalists. But they didn't do that.

I'm constantly running into otherwise reasonable people who think Trump is being persecuted, Biden is guilty of more crimes than Josef Stalin, Hunter is a death ray-emitting space alien with a thermonuclear laptop, climate change is an illusion, etc. etc. etc. The number of people who believe the diametric opposite of the truth is, frankly, horrifying.

Trump's brand still sells. That's both amazing and sickening. I could say, this country will deserve what it gets, but I don't deserve to get it along with them.

What you wrote above is exactly what I did.  I just couldn't get myself to vote for him

Obviously, you were a rare bird in that respect. Most Republifools were able to stifle their gag reflex--or joyfully voted for the Turd, Sieg Heil.

Somebody did a study on how many ballots were just that--obviously cast by Republican voters due to unequivocal down-ballot choices, but without votes for Trump. It was a shockingly small percentage--less than 1.5%, if I recall correctly.

Jerry - By doing this - "What you wrote above is exactly what I did. I just couldn't get myself to vote for him" - you did exactly what the lying media and DemocRats wanted you and millions of others to do. One day hopefully you will understand.

Insulting someone for exercising their right to vote is the hallmark of an asshole. David Miller is a complete motherfucking worthless Trump-licking asshole.

No David.  I saw a repulsive human being, completely full of himself on the Apprentice and any other national tv show he could get his ugly self on.  I didn't like him then and I don't know.  And I wasn't voting for a half-wit who inherited all of his $ and then had some good business ventures and some really bad ones.  (Anbody could do that!)  Give me what he inherited and I guarantee you people would talk about me being 100x the businessman this clown ever was.  He is just simply not a good human being.  And yes, I am a republican.  But I did not vote for him and I'm more proud of that stance than ever now.  Trust me, I got lots of flack for it from my family and brothers too.

Now you know I rip Biden for a host of other reasons but they are different.  Personally, I can't stand politicians of any kind.  But I'm not going to run to the first guy that isn't a politician just because he isn't one.

Now I've probably just set myself up for all kinds of ridicule from both sides but that is my stance.

I looked at what President Trump accomplished for America pre covid as my meter for judging him. Prior to running for President, Trump was loved by the media and politicans. After he ran on the "drain the swamp" program and got elected - the media and the DemocRats turned on him, lied, twisted the truth, and joined to smear him at every turn - as they continue to do today. He exposed the corruption in the government and they hate him for it. America was way better off then - look at the current status now. I never had a problem when he made sure to sign in large scroll his signature for legislation, programs, and all of the promised he made and fulfilled - it was just his way of smearing shit into the faces of the politicians who lied about what they were going to do if elected, and then never did. He proved that one did not have to be part of the swamp to accomplish things. Do you remember(1) the price of gas - and the fact that America was energy independant?, (2) do you remember how secure the southern border was, and the stonewalling the DemocRats did in Congress to stymie finishing the wall? (3) he started no new wars, destroyed the Taliban, (4) middle class income increased nearly $6000, (4) unemployment rate reached 3.5%, the lowest in 50 years, (5) here is a list of what he did- https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/trump-administration-accomplishments/  -- but you, like so many other millions of voters bought into the incessent negative media and DemocRat lies decided that he was what they said he was - and then you voted for the worst President America has ever had and your votes are what has put the corrupt DemocRats in the position they have been in the past 2 1/2+ years as the tear America apart. If the fraudlent election had of not elected brain dead Biden, America would still be energy independant, the border would be secure with immigration functioning as it had before Biden, Mayorkas and Harris opened the border. There would not be the inflation we are suffering, our military would still be strong and the world would be safer. You should be ashamed of yourself - you were duped and refused to vote for a man who was making America great again.

Shut up, Miller. You were given the reasons (and valid ones at that) on why someone would not cast a ballot for that waste of orange skin you worship.
