Do you think Trump is just kidding? Keep in mind he already disabled the post office in furtherance of his scheme. Tom, this is his plan. The post office won't be able to deliver the ballots on time to declare a winner of the election night so Trump will use the mess he created as an excuse to go to the Republican controlled state legislatures, like Wisconsin, and have those state legislatures declare him the winner of their electoral votes in those particular states.

I am sure Tom and the rest of the Republicans will willingly go goose-stepping along turning the United States into a fascist authoritarian government. Trump doesn't even hide that he is cheating. He has set up a scenario where the election is rigged unless he wins even though he is the one that is rigging it. I hope they drag him out of the White House and straight into prison when he refuses to concede.  

Any and all mail-votes counted after election night will be called "fraud".  He's already doing it.   

Then he hopes the Supreme Court with his new Heritage-Foundation-picked judge will invalidate the results and give him the victory.

What makes the potential candidates "hacks"?

Problems with absentee ballots. 

1- several people in NJ have been arrested for mishandling mail in ballots. 

2 - 1,600 ballots in NJ were just found, which means those people were disenfranchised 

3 - 50,000 absentees ballots in the NYC democratic primary were thrown out (20%)

4 - it took 2 months to finalize those primaries. 

5 - the Wash Post estimates more than 500,000 absentee ballots were thrown out from the last primary. 

So what could go wrong?

If people can wait in a checkout line, then they can go vote.

Voting by mail is legal and has been for decades.   The president and birthers and QaNon dont get to change the rules because they're already convinced they lost.      But they will suddenly say the same process they used to vote isn't valid for everyone else.
