Trump makes contingency plans to hold office after losing

PJ says " Its not a debate at this point."  -- If that were so, why is it being discussed here and in the news EVERY DAY?

The "it" that PJ was referring to was the question of whether or not people should vote by mail. He observed that the question is moot--as in, beyond debate--because mail-in voting has already started. Whether or not people should vote by mail is not, in fact, discussed every day for that simple reason. I realize that Fox News and Trump hate rallies are exceptions. But on those venues, daily discussions occur regarding whether or not Trump should be able to use the Constitution for toilet paper.

If you and other Trumper posters would stifle your knee-jerk angry reactions to people saying things you don't agree with, this forum could be a place for rational discussion. Your shame in supporting Trump no matter what horrible things he says or does continues. He's not going to reward you for your slavish loyalty. You demean yourselves with your reflexive, thoughtless, automatic defense of Trump.

4 Democrats indicted in Texas on 134 counts of voter fraud regarding mail in ballots.

What could go wrong?

You're so funny, Tom!

Voters in Virginia have received multiple mail ballots.

What could go wrong.

So they did. So what? If anyone tries to use both ballots, the second one will be detected as a duplicate, and the person who sent them in will be subject to criminal prosecution. So: "what could go wrong"? Nothing. There are multiple, robust safeguards in place to prevent duplicate voting.

I've asked before, but our Trumpers have continually dodged the question: why would anyone submit a fraudulent mail-in ballot?

You don't have to believe EVERY. SINGLE. piece of crap Trump feeds you, Tom. Learn to think for yourself, as difficult and painful as that may be for you.

DonDiego certainly hopes that the remaining "robust safeguards" are more robust than those which permitted the voter in Virginia to be sent multiple ballots.

DonDiego, perhaps in a state of confusion, does not seem to realize that being sent multiple ballots does not mean that the recipient will actually be able to use them to vote multiple times.

The robust safeguards in place are there to prevent the same person from being able to vote twice. People might get sent multiple mail-in ballots because they have recently moved. Election officials want to make sure everyone gets a ballot who wants one, and sending a second ballot to the same  person is completely harmless. The ballots will have the same barcode, and the second one will be rejected. There are other safeguards as well.

DonDiego might wish to educate himself regarding the safeguards that exist to prevent duplicate voting. The other Trumpers here are incapable of such learning, but DonDiego has shown occasional flashes of rationality.

That anyone in Virginia was sent a duplicate ballot is very unlikely to make any difference whatsoever. DonDiego should also consider that in order for it to make such a difference, the recipient of the duplicate ballot would have to actually decide to use it to vote twice--for no discernible gain, and risking prosecution for multiple felonies. That prosecution would be backed up by the physical duplicate ballots that the hypothetical miscreant sent in. Only an idiot would do that.

Again, these concepts are utterly beyond most of our Trumpers, but I think, hope, and pray that DonDiego is made of sterner stuff.
