Trump's intelligence chief testified that there was no "imminent threat". Wouldn't it have been nice to have international inspectors investigating nuclear sites in Iran over the last eight years? Instead, we got bluster and threats, and paranoia. Too bad we didn't have actual neutral, inspectors measuring nuclear enrichment.

I can hear Lewis and the other brain dead liberals wailing and complaining if the Iranians did obtain and use an atomic device that it is/was President Trump's fault because he did nothing to stop them from obtaining the bomb. As for the "state of war" liberal mantra goes - Iran has been at war with America and Americans for 47 years - with these results --- Over the past 47 years, Iranian-backed terrorist attacks and direct military actions have killed approximately 1,000 Americans. This total encompasses both military personnel and civilians, spanning multiple high-profile bombings, proxy conflicts, and ongoing regional engagements -- so who then started the war that President Trump is addressing?
While not an imminent threat as inlaunching an attack next week they were continuing their efforts to develop an intercontinental nuclear missile.
If it is not imminent then there is no excuse not to consult Congress first. He didnt.
And the correct way to engage Iran is to build a coalition of allies to gang up on them. But he spent his first year starting trade and insult wars with all our NATO allies and then told them they were on their own fighting against Russia.
Now he has unilaterally made a big mess and is asking all those countries he spit on for the last year to bail him out. They werent consulted ahead of time. And they dont have any loyalty to the country that told them to fuck off. So now they tell us to fuck off.

If it's a war, then it should be declared by Congress, as stated in the Constitution. Presidents do not have the power to declare war or wage an undeclared war. That is not a "liberal mantra." It it the law of the the United States of America. You know, the country you MAGAs claim to be partiots for. If you believe in America and its laws, then you should be against this unconstitutional and undeclared war.

It's real simple. If Trump wants to kill Iranian schoolgirls, he must ask Congress for permission. Why hasn't he done that? They're his lackeys, so they would certainly give him their approval.
