Tucker F****r Carlson triples down

Kevin - no reply needed.

You don't seem to understand young people.  Why would they risk a vaccination with ZERO legal recourse should anything go wrong to protect against a vaccination that has 1/10 the chance of killing them compared to a 60 year old ---- especially if they must still face draconian government lockdown measures?

Smart public policy would encourage people to get vaccines by relaxing quarantines (like Florida and Texas).  Lectures by Fauchi and the Hollywood elite ain't gonna cut it.....sorry.

So...you would say that increasing the speed limit on the freeway to 150 MPH would encourage people to use their seat belts? Ooooookay...

You're sounding a bit confused. A vaccination to protect against a vaccination...? And Fauci (that's how his name is spelled) is a member of the "Hollywood elite"? What ARE you smoking?

So attempting to divine what you actually meant, you mention "legal recourse should anything go wrong"...such as? Remember, it's only in Tucker Carlson's fevered brain that the vaccine makes people's heads explode or turns them into liberals. In the real world, it's perfectly safe---and please don't mention the six people out of six million who developed blood clots.

I do understand young people; they're idiots. You imply some vague, horrible existential danger from getting the vaccine. You totally ignore the danger from NOT getting it. I certainly realize that for quite a few people, it's a matter of how the vaccine might harm them vs. their risk of sickness and death if they don't get the vaccine. The sad fact is that those people are drastically overstating the risk of getting vaccinated while drastically understating the risk of NOT getting vaccinated. And that hurts all of us!

But let's get real. All the young colts and mares don't want to wear masks, because it interferes with the mating ritual, or drunken singing, or something. So they downplay the risk, throw a little politics into it (them liberals wants to put mikerchips in the masks and control us!!!!), and listen to the fools who tell them that they, like teenagers since civilization began, are invulnerable and immortal. And yeah...staying safe is "draconian." We can't cram ourselves into bars and parTAAAAY! WAAAAAAAH!

Kevin has nothing and triples down on his nothing once again.  Nice job.

Shouldn't the public health goal be to immunize as many people as needed to reach herd immunity so less people are infected and less people die?

If so, I'm saying they are going about it bass-ackwards.  Shame is not an effective motivation tool to get the necessary people out to get vaccinated.  In today's world, many need to see "what's in it for me"?  If all you have is Holloywood "stars" telling you to get the vaccine and 24x7 doom and gloom from mass media and totalitarian political leaders, you are going to fail.....and we are seeing it already with supply of the vaccine beginning to outpace demand.

People need a reason to get vaccinated......and normalcy is a great motivation tool which is working quite well in Texas and Florida.  It's too bad other ideologues don't have the vision to see this.

By the way, calling people idiots is probably not a good tool for motivation.....they tend to just discount you as you probably already know.

AND

How many people take medicines that preclude them from bringing a legal suit it you somehow developed some hideous complication.

I don't see much shaming in terms of encouraging people to get vaccinated. And while anyone who refuses the vaccine is indeed an idiot, the government has adhered to the "personal choice" mantra.

That is a mistake. When actions or inaction endanger others, "personal freedumb" isn't a valid concept. Vaccinations should be mandatory. After all, in all but a few school districts nationwide, your kids have to be vaccinated before they can enroll. Isn't that pretty much the same concept--to protect others? We seem to have no problem with that.

If there's one thing illustrated by this thread, it's the difference between how normal people such as myself and conservitards such as Boiler and Tommie-poo discuss issues. All Boiler and Tommie-poo can do is pitch insults and call people who disagree with them liars.

These are the sort of people who listen avidly to Tucker Carlson and lap up his every word. 'Nuff said!

kevin calls Boiler & myself liars, but when challenged for proof he cannot.  He either insults (3 insults in the above thread alone) or says we are not worthy of a response (which means kevin has nothing)

For someone who claims to hate Donald Trump, they are both quite similar in style, all bluster and insult, I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

You are correct, however Trump is successful.

Wow, you Trumpers still believe in the Orange Failure. How stupid is that?

No, I'm not a fan of Trump, I'm just pointing out the fact that you're both assholes
