If Kevin and his Liberal nuts when to bank on 750 so called Conservatives, go ahead. It's a tiny tiny percentage of the population.

I assume you know what the Munich Beer Hall Putsch was. At the time, people thought that Hitler was just some mostly harmless revolutionary nutjob, they threw him in jail and forgot about him. But it was the precursor to--the harbinger of, if you like--something much larger and more destructive. Ten years later, Hitler overthrew the German government. And from then until he blew his head off in 1945, the Putsch was celebrated by the Nazi party as an historic event worth commemorating.
So the parallel I draw is that our nation's violent nutjobs are seeing the events of Jan. 6 as worthy of commemoration. And I'm sure that those who participated are being and will be deified by the alt-right. The pioneers of government-by-murder. Hooray.
However long it takes, five, ten, twenty years from now, when the insurrection is a million strong and a violent mob descends on and destroys Washington D.C., murdering tens of thousands, they'll be carrying banners depicting the QAnon shaman, Sean Hannity, and of course the Orange Pusbag. Today is the first anniversary celebration. There will be more.
Nice history lesson, except the last part where you decended into silly hyperbole.
Kevin yaps about Hitler. Which group is most squashing free speech? Kevins friends.

I wouldn't characterize the problems that the current administration has created as "trivial", far from it actually.
Where you go off the rails is in saying that the current administration created those problems, which is beyond asinine.
My point went whistling far, far over your head. When democracies have died, the threats to their existence were dismissed as unimportant, right up to the day of the coup.
You really think that the insurrection is the last we'll see of these assholes? Learn from history, dude.
Would any of our resident conservative friends vote for Trump again considering he :
- told Pence to decertify the election
- called Georgia officials and told them to modify the vote count
- sent a team of his officials to Wisconsin, Pennsylvania to ask the legislatures there to send pro-Trump electors instead of the ones voted by the public
- sent his own campaign officials to bully election workers in Georgia
- continues to this day say the 2020 election was rigged and he really won
You dont have to be dressed up in horns and storm the Capital to be pro-insurrection and anti-Democracy. You just have to support the people who do.

Glad to hear it. I hope Republicans give America a candidate who offers different policy from Democrats - instead of one who challenges our Democracy.
Nope - didn't in 2020 either. I didn't vote for either of the two worst candidates we've ever put on the ballot in the history of our country. But you did!
In 2024 there are only two choices 1. continue to live in a democratic republic or 2. live under an authoritarian dictator.
