Max , I found it crazy that while Biden was in office and Putin invaded Ukraine, the stock market also went up, and again with the masacre in Israel. It is hard to time the market, or make sense of it sometimes. But I hope it keeps going up no mater who is in office. The Dow could hit 51000 next month

It's not so amazing when you consider that the market has an overall upward historic trend. To evaluate it properly, you have to adjust for inflation as well as the introduction of new publicly traded companies, both of which push the Dow, NASDAQ, etc. higher.
In any event, the stock market is a rough measure of how corporate America is doing, which has zippo to do with how ordinary Americans are doing.
Personally, I would rather the market tanked and my wallet got some relief.
