US Economy Doing Well

Tom makes a fair point.   If you cherry pick Obama's worst quarter and compare it to Trump's best quarter than Trump is the winner.

And your valuable time is the loser.

Or if you compare obama’s 8 year average to Trumps average to date trump is the winner.

Yes, perhaps, but what would the meaning of such a comparison be, since each President began his term in completely different economic climates?

You want a meaningful comparison, compare the difference in GDP, say, from the time each man took office until two years later. Trump won't look so hot compared to Obama then. But you only want to consider perspectives that favor your orange god.

I'll say it again, since you're too stupid to see it: Obama inherited a recession, while Trump inherited a healthy economy. Of COURSE the first several quarters of Trump's administration looked better than the equivalent period for Obama. Obama was handicapped by having to clean up Dubya's messes. Trump benefitted from inheriting the Obama economy.

In other words, Trump got to follow Obama. Obama didn't.

I'll drop the conversation now, as if you want to continue to be a panting little Trump dog, no amount of logic or reason can sway you. He's a bigly stable genius and you should have his baby.
