Vegas China Town Suggestion

Kevin, thank you sir.  This trip's not happening until October and I'll report then.  Asian food is a broad spectrum, but in general, it's my favorite of all ethnic categories.  I'll opt out of the bugs, however.

On this trip, we're spending one night in Vegas, then 3 in Laughlin.  Most of us are going to see Wizard of Oz at the Sphere on our first night.

If you visit Laughlin, eat on the Arizona side of the river (Bullhead City). Lots of good options. There's nothing on the Nevada side; the casino food is an overpriced joke.

I only do one organized meal in Laughlin, and we eat at Saltgrass Steakhouse inside the Golden Nugget.  It's solid, reasonably priced and right in our hotel.

I've saved your China Town suggestions in my notes and am leaning towards Ton Shou.  It sure gets great review on Yelp.

Let us know how you like it. I agree about Saltgrass, though the last time I ate there was five years ago.

Heading to Vegas this next week for a couple of nights.  I am going to try PJ's suggestion of Shang's and I am excited to try it!
I'll also hit Crown and Anchor for lunch ;) (playing vp and using the LVA coupon)

I've heard nothing but good things about Shang's. Enjoy!

Never been to Las Vegas Chinatown.Have to try to squeeze in on my June Trip.

I know June hot as hell. Can't help it's my birthday.

Patsy, the saving grace is, you can go in the evening, every place is open until 10 at least, and many places are open until after midnight. No matter where you choose to eat, it'll be awesome.

Ton Shou Premium for Japanese, Weera Thai for Thai, and China Mama for Chinese.  Can't go wrong with any of those. All very easy to get to and reasonably priced.

Let us know what you think of any of those places.

Kevin, I've settled on Ton Shou for dinner vs lunch.  Thanks for your help.

You're welcome! Let us know how you like it.

Just wanted to report that Shang's was excellent (Had the beef noodle soup) and I'll be putting that place on the regular restaurant rotation.

The gumbo at 4Q remains excellent and worth the $8.99 per bowl price!

The gumbo sounds good, I have been looking for something new to try on the Magnolias menu!
