Nixon's press secretary dismissed it, calling it a "third-rate burglary."
Sounds kind of familiar, doesn't it?

But we got a good movie out of it, All the President's Men. And, if the movie was 1/10th accurate, the actual burglary was indeed third rate. Taped door closure; office light on at night; loud static from their 2-way radios, etc. But good cast, (Redford, Hoffman, Robards, Holbrook) good screenplay.

It depends what News Station(s) you watch,
Nixon didnt have his own media propoganda to try and divert attention to Critical Race Theory.
Nixon wasn't nearly as Tricky as Hillary and friends with the Steele Dossier.

The difference between the Watergate burglary and the "Steele Dossier" is that the Watergate burglary actually happened.

There should have been a part II about the Watergate hearings in the Senate.
It would feature the honorable Republicans who wanted to expose criminal activity, even when the criminals were members of their own party. Sounds kind of quaint, doesn't it?
The Steele Dossier, paid for by Hillary and the DNC, happened 3 years ago. If the media still did their job, it would be a bigger deal than Watergate.

The media's job is not to manufacture pseudo-reality out of idiotic conspiracy theories. Oh, wait, that is the job of Fox News.

Kevin, you are correct that it's not the media's job to create a story...........yet they do it regularly. It's also not their job to bury a story, which is what they have done with the Steele dissier.
The FBI and the DOJ was complicit in this horrible scheme.

Lets count how many people go to prison for the Insurrection vs crybaby-Gate.
Then we can compare you desperate false equivalency.
