We got the bikers !

"250k people in close quarters during a pandemic probably poses a bigger danger to the public than an anecdotal homicide in DC"

Remember when shooting 20 people created a national cry & days of coverage for gun control?  Now it is another day in the big city.

Only certain black lives matter.

I just noticed a "right wing" work tool add on LVA.  Kevin would be horrified.

Yes and it still does...

And I remember you changing the topic to black-on-black crime in Chicago each and every time a white cop killed an unarmed black man in this country.    Because thats your posting history on this board for your entire tenure here.   Its a really uncomfortable topic for you, isn't Tom?    Why is that I wonder?  I know its not because you're rcist or anything.

One cannot keep up with Chicago shootings without a scorecard.

Oh, and here it is: HeyJackass !

Damn straight - some stories have bigger national implications than others.   Go figure.

250k people in close quarters during a pandemic probably poses a bigger danger to the public than an anecdotal homicide in DC.     It also probaly makes people like you uncomfortable knowing that its another example of failed leadership and the partisan ramifications of making a pandemic political.

cry me a river.

Oh my gawd PJ, how wreckless the major of DC allow ALL people who attended John Lewis’ funeral with NO restrictions but yet you worry for the bikers. Well that is so big of you. Many of our political figures attended this funeral, I would think their importance of many of them to our country they did a pretty piss poor effort to social distance. But you, worry about a bunch of bikers, how thoughtful of you! The hypocrisy of the liberals is unbelievable.

CNN shares the concern with regard to the bikers' health: CNN: Motorcycle Rally

https://www.newsweek.com/sturgis-motorcycle-rally-cost-122-billion-public-health-due-coronavirus-spread-economists-1530422

Well Look at that.   The price tag is in.     The Sturgis motorcycle rally is now responsible for 256K confirmed cases of COVID-19 (and growing)  with an estimated cost of 12 Billion dollars in healtcare costs (and growing).   And that cost falls into the category of "other peoples' money".

Much like our resident conservatives I'm sure these bikers like to cite the costs of the Black Lives Matter protests.

Maybe if one is serious about damages and paying for them the right perspective is to renounce those who break windows and renounce those who think spreading a pandemic is somehow patriotic.   Or you can pick a side and only cry foul on the other team.

So 260,000 infected people and one one death tied to the rally.  Those are tough dudes.

Since we must assume that an increase in cases must be caused by biker rallies, then how did NY have surge months before a biker rally?  PJ's so called "study" is nothing but a bunch of assumptions.

No I didn't assume - i referenced the contact tracing done by people who do contact tracing.

And then I referenced the universal disdain the attendees of the Sturgis rally openly celebrated towards complying with COVID-19 prevention protocols.

And then I referenced the fact the cost is estimated 12 Billion dollars of other peoples' money.

What else can I correct you with today?
