What happens when Republicans run things

If you'd learn to spell "liberal," we might take you more seriously.

Naah, not even then.

You realize that your stupid argument is the same tired one that conservative fat cats have been making against consumer protections for fifty years?

That's really noble of you, Boiler, to mock victims of predatory business practices. And just so you know--Conservative Clod and Clem Cornpone got raped just as hard, if not harder. At least liberals didn't vote for the perverted assholes who run Texas. Conservatives should just lie back and enjoy it.

NO ONE should EVER get a $10,000 electric bill, whatever their political views may be. It shouldn't be POSSIBLE to choose a plan where this could happen.

But you know why there are such things as predatory businesses? Because people like Boiler cheer them on. His argument is very much like that made by the payday loan industry. They charge 300 percent annual interest plus fees, and their justification is that no one is forced to use their services.

So that makes it OK to take advantage of people. What a disgusting and immoral way to conduct business!

And just so we make things clear: liberals read, and think, and are therefore less likely to be taken in by the power company scam. Conservative nimrods and dimbulbs will fall for it. After all, they fell for the biggest scam of all--Donald Trump! Even after he lost the election, they sent him millions to pay his legal bills. So why wouldn't they LUVVVV to send big chunks of cash to the power companies, too?

Let's clarify where Kevin stands.  Are you for school choice?

Okay, we already know that Kevin will give us a convoluted answer.  Do you agree with a choice about wearing seatbelts?

Boiler is veering into Insane Land, now comparing buying electricity to choosing the schools one's children attend and to wearing seatbelts. I half expect him to compare the Texas electrical companies to Kentucky Fried Chicken, because KFC offers Original Recipe, Extra Crispy, and Grilled.

As expected, Kevin won't answer the questions.  We all know that Kevin wants you and I to only have the right to choose things that he agrees with.  He doesn't want you to have the right to send your kids to a different public school, or a private school with equal public support.  He wants you to be fined if you don't wear your auto selt belt.  And he certainly doesn't want a broad choice for your power offerings.

After all, Kevin and Liberals know what's best for you and you damn well better fall in line.  The next thing you know, Liberals take away choice by banning Dr. Suess and the Muppets.  Oh.........sorry, they've already done that.

Book burnings to follow, as that is a most effective way to eliminate choice.

Nope. I'm neither obligated nor inclined to answer any of your silly questions when you veer off into Insane Land. So power utility regulation is the same as book burning...riiiiiiight. Boiler, consider asking your doctor to increase your meds.

Kevin, you won't answer because you hate choice and you know that your views make you an idiot.

Boiler, would you choose a variable rate plan subjected to the rates we just witnessed in Texas?    Would you think that plan is a good deal for any person?     Explain that person's context so we can all understand your intelligent argument.

No, I won't answer you because I'm not obligated to meet the demands of a moronic conservitard like you. I answer you if and when it suits me.

And you should understand---a thing like you calling me an idiot is the greatest compliment I could ever receive--so, thank you. I hope to God I never find myself agreeing with you on anything.
