I recall sending stats after Kevin assured us that blacks do just as well in school as others.  He had just told me that I was racist for claiming this fact.  He didn't bother to read to data and told me that anyone reporting these facts was racist.

Kevin believes in recognizing sickle cell anemia as a pandemic with blacks, but if we recogize pandemic issues regarding education, crime, or babies out of wedlock it's racist.  Problems are problems, and ignoring a problem because of skin color it stupid.  It the problem certainly doesn't help black people.

I probably shouldn't bother to point out that sickle cell anemia isn't a pandemic, any more than, say, Alzheimer's disease or cancer. A pandemic, by definition, is a communicable disease. I have been able to make my third-graders understand this distinction. It might be hopeless for Boiler, though. His thought processes are badly muddled (speaking of Alzheimer's...).

If the intended/implied insult was that I must be a poor teacher, my only reply would be that if that were so, my various bosses, principals, supervisors, and boards of education must have all been pretty crappy judges of talent and ability. They kept renewing my contract. Of course, I did make it a point to collect photos of them in compromising situations.

4. You may have a touch of Trump Capitalization Disease, a syndrome that makes you miscapitalize things, especially Twitter posts. It's not contagious as far as I know, but Boilerman does seem to have developed it at about the same time Trump waddled onto the national political stage, and Boiler's an avid fan.
