Who is the dumbest member of Congress?

Looks like limp-dick Madison got busted again for a loaded gun at an airport.

Stupid.

I think all the participants in this kitchen sunk forum ( on both sides of the political spectrum), who routinely and regularly relay their opposing political ideologies / opinions laced with insults of their in-house foes during  never-ending digital arguments here, should just immediately begin to solicit funds and run for political office. Roll that pair of dice after seriously polishing your deliveries..and facts.

Put your money where your mouths might actually truly affect somebody's day to day existence rather than roaming around in here with persistent ideological erections. Your collective accountability / credibility MIGHT jump exponentially, though I have no idea if any of you could withstand the required background checks. On the other hand, as a proponent of the free speech doctrine, you could and probably will just carry on. That's cool, but whom / how many do you intend to sway to your respective side here..and to what end? It's largely about the fight / argument/ insults alone ..and a means to vent collective sarcastic misery, isn't it?  Do the routine regulars have full time jobs, btw? Comfortably retired? I've always wondered...just as a side note. But nobody cares, actually.

Debate is a good thing...hard-line insults, not so much. Have all the fun you can stand, btw. Brush your teeth occasionally...then go vote ( your single most powerful weapon in the end). Send money, too.

Well, a LOT of the recent debate has been about efforts by a certain gang to deprive people of their votes or claim those votes are illegitimate...so yeah, we have that weapon, but it's often neutralized; also, see "Electoral College" for just how powerful that weapon is or isn't. I personally have felt pretty disgusted when the candidate who got several million more votes wasn't automatically the winner. And of course, those who benefit from that flawed system have to justify it somehow--which fuels arguments, as there is no legitimate rationale to retain such a slavery-based system. And then there are the idiotic, specious, and grossly insulting claims that several million Americans cast fraudulent votes--when each such act would have involved the commission of multiple felonies.

I personally would never want to be a politician--not that there's anything wrong with it, but I know I wouldn't be very good at gladhanding and appeasement. Also, these days, you have to, at the very least, try not to antagonize your potential enemies, but I wouldn't be able to treat Trumpers as if they were actual humans worthy of my notice. And it would be hard for any Democrat to win political office without getting at least a few Trumpers to climb on board.

To answer your question, I believe all of the "regulars" here are indeed retired--myself, probably the most recently. But for all anyone knows, of course, someone could be posting from prison. Or the ultra-secret underground fortress of the Deep State (where the Democrats devour roasted baby).

To whom do you want us to send money? Mine goes to the Red Cross and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Others here donate to KAM (Kill All Mexicans) and the Proud Boys. Still others just drop a fiver in the collection plate.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts.

@Kevin ...Yeah, that "electoral college" thing is a sporadic bees nest, I'd agree. And that could lead to further discussions regarding what all else is inequitable, corrupt, and summarily inadequate about our voting systems here and there. Yet, voting remains the most impactful tool over what gamblers refer to as "the long haul" to effect some sort of change in system outcomes that deliver our so-called elected representatives. It beats use of a 9mm by a long shot.

I wonder how the RepubliQ have managed to keep their women so cowed that none of them are standing up and screaming bloody murder about this. Guess they're all barefoot, pregnant, and brain-dead.

I mean, really, what woman with any self-esteem would be a RepubliQ or voluntarily live within 500 yards of one?

Not sure what to make of this....

Kevin is once again arguing that the Supreme Court should ignore the Constitution.
