Who will be nominated for 2024?

How about a sane new direction or party instead of the same old far left and right picks? Cheney and Klobuchar, with either as POTUS. Hopefully, with enough centerist Republicans and Democrats or Idependents, in the HoR and Senate, to get America working again.

Interesting idea.

Whoever the former Republican Party picks, it will be from a large field with some of the same garbage as last time, Rubio, Cancun Cruz. If tRump is in the mix it definately will be a must-see shit show.

As stated before, I doubt Trump will be there (I could be wrong). Further, you liberals will have too much fun if he is the candidate...I can't tolerate that. *l*

Well, so far he's the only one that announced. As far as having too much fun, believe me, I want him no where near anything to do with the government, unless it's the Federal Pen.

It would be fun watching them attack each other though...

I'm all for your suggestion concerning "get America working again". We could all stand a lot of that..soon. Discontinuance of the incessant reciprocal browbeating suits me. This massive division could calm down for some welcomed and unknown length of time for the majority of the citizenry (realizing it would eventually and unfailingly return)..and we'd all be a bit better off in at least the short term, imo.

True..he's the only announcee thus far. We'll know soon re: the others, maybe. Let the silly dogfight commence. And..send money.

Biden is running which means nobody else from the left will.    And he has a pretty impressive array of popular legislation to run on - some of it bipartisan.     The biggest knock against him the other side has been able to come up with is that he's old.     I like his chances.

Whoever the Republican candidate is will need to defend the abortion ruling of the Supreme Court. (good luck selling that in Pennsylvania)  They will also need to  decide whether or not there will be a legislative agenda.  The last two elections have been without one.   And to the extent Republicans have had the courage to speak their ideas (enter Rick Scott) they have not been the least bit popular.

But what makes you think that any more than a very, very few RepubliQ have the remotest interest in legislating or getting anything done? Look at their House agenda. Conspiracy--mongering and virtue signaling. Pandering to the base. And coming soon--thousands of hours of babbling about Hunter Biden's imaginary radioactive laptop.

You may want some actual bipartisanship and cooperation, and getting things done, but your gang has NO interest in those things. None. Zip. Zilch.

You voted for 'em. You get what you pay for.

For that to happen, more than half of our legislators/voters have to want it. And they don't.

I think Biden's too old. The Presidency is a brutally rigorous job.

I did read an article suggesting that both he and Trump could be "super agers," able to function well past the point where most folks have to slow down. Pelosi certainly falls into that category. But whether that's true or not for Biden, we need younger folks in office.

Yup. The GQP are mostly nihilists. Just look at the McQarthy debacle...
